I still remember when I prayed for love like ours. For someone to see all of me and choose to stay. Someone that will make me laugh and compliment without the thought of sexualizing me. Someone that would hold me without needing to know why I was crying. Someone that talked about our future like it was a done deal to forever.

Sadly I forgot to take before and after pictures of this process

Not to prove that I was able to fix what was originally there

But to prove that you can always go back and make things better in your art pieces

Although the finished product wasn’t what I intended when I started

I’m proud of what’s there now instead of how it looked before

And that’s the best part of the process

Being able to smile at what you created
