INDIGO BLOOD from Koralie on Vimeo.
INDIGO BLOOD A short film by Koralie
“Metaphor of the creativity process, through the cycle of life represented by the personified nature “
A short film on the universal language of visual art, dance and music. A story in 4 chapters, telling the process of creativity, the relationship between Man and nature and the concept of cycle of life.
chapter I : GENESIS / Roots of inspiration Inspiration originates from observation, knowledge, experience and memories. Through our intuitions, we build our tree of life : we are nourished by our roots, we rest on the branches of our achievements and work on our dreams. During our journey, we try to sow what we want to reap.
chapter II : IMAGINATION / Garden of emotions Imagination is an audacious wild plant, it grows in all directions, follows its instinct and releases its emotions. We let go, and let fireworks of ideas and kaleidoscopic images of our reflections emerge, to connect them, juxtapose them, and combine them. A ritual is set up, like a ritornello: immersion/research/interpretation/appropriation.
chapter III : EQUILIBRIUM / Shades & variations By mastering the fire of passion, by channeling our energies, by adapting and structuring ideas, by finding a balance, we can be prepared to present a singular and authentic idea. To tame our ideas, to extract their essence, find the rhythm, and to construct an abstract image, that only we understand, in universal language.
chapter IV : OXYMORE / Dusk of the cycle Contemplation of the end of a cycle, calm and resolute, we let ourselves fill with emptiness. Conflicting feelings mingle: happiness and melancholy. Satisfied with work done, sad to turn the page of how we feel in that moment and change our emotional state. Be aware of the doubts which tiptoe and settle in on our last breath ... until the next inspiration.
The cycles are constant, only nature has preceded us and will succeed us.

BERLIN - the inner layer from Alex Soloviev on Vimeo.
It has endless edges, tints and singularities. Berlin is a power city. You can feel it there. It's positive and razor sharp simultaneously. Berlin can be strong and complex for its visitors. I tried my very best to catch the spirit of it. At least how I felt it running in the cold streets with my camera.

Locomotive of Morocco from Nick Whelan Film on Vimeo.
When I arrived in Morocco, I jumped on a train and began listening to this piece by Philip Glass. The second the piece kicked in, everything on the train took on a new shape. The cabins began to glow, the sounds of the machinery became musical, and I could suddenly feel the pulse of this big metallic beast that I was riding on.

Answering a hard question: "How was India?"
In a land of sensory overload I’ve seen, heard, touched, tasted, and smelled more than I ever thought possible. Honestly, words fail me. So, this is my attempt to answer that question, with footage that I captured while on an epic tour of India last month. I hope that you enjoy!
Locations: New Delhi, Old Delhi, Agra, (Rajasthan: Jodhpur, Jaipur, Udaipur)
Equipment: Sony A6300 w/ 16-50mm on Beholder MS1 Gimbal Panasonic Lumix GH4 w/ 12-35mm DJI Mavic
Words:
The world has enough technology now If it’s old prejudices and stupidity can be dropped We can make the whole world a paradise, nothing is lacking
If we can reach to the moon If we can create so much destructive power The same power can be transferred into creativity.

You are a guest Leave this Earth, a little more beautiful For those unknown guests who will be following you Nobody belongs here But for the moment we are here And we have to make this moment as beautiful as possible.
-
Wherever you are, it will be here and now Live as intensely and totally now Otherwise, life goes on slipping from your hands like water Soon you will have empty hands And meeting death with empty hands, is an utter failure.
Shanghai Forever from JT Singh on Vimeo.
Urbanist and media artist JT Singh has captured the vibrance and massive scale of Shanghai’s skyline, streets, and infrastructure through a series of experimental projects viewed by millions (This is Shanghai, Walk in Shanghai, etc); hence, contributing greatly to the city's growing global status. With this new film, he turns to the Shanghai of its residents, the lives that revolve not around the city’s 4000 skyscrapers, but around the simpler ways of living, the local charm, and the familiar corner.
Amid the chaos of millions of people living and working with one another, the rich textures and smells, the voices and faces young and old, and the signs of tradition and change dwell behind each door and around each corner. With JT's riveting visual storytelling, viewers experience a series of impressions around historic shikkumen neighbourhoods, which foster a network of real-life experiences, memories, and encounters with locals, which are the tender heart keeping the city alive and charming to live in. Shanghai’s iconic skyline is symbolic of its presence as a premier global city, but below the towers, the intimate, and human story that unfolds is what will always be part of the city’s core DNA.
