switcheroo!
Send me “Switcheroo!” and I’ll redesign your muse as if they were from my muse’s universe
INKLING NAME: Mukuro
RANK: S 35
LEVEL: 50
WEAPON: .96 Gal Deco
SUB WEAPON: Splash Wall
SPECIAL: Kraken
Mukuro is an excellent Inkling to have on your team. Being at level 50 and with the second highest rank, Mukuro is one tough Inkling to go up against during a turfwar. Her teammates are often wary of her because of her cold outer appearence, but they are glad to have her on their team.
Mukuro’s gear stacks a number of Ink Saver (Maine Weapon) to compensate for the large usage of ink the .96 Gal Deco uses. And with Run Speed Up, paired with a Splash wall and the Kraken, she is one tough Inkling. To be fair, Mukuro is an expert in a number of weapons and can be very lethal with any weapon that she gets her hands on.
Leon dressed as Hifumi, Mukuro dressed as Sayaka, Mondo dressed as Kiyotaka, Yasuhiro dressed as Junko and Hifumi dressed as Chihiro from the end of the third volume of the DR1 manga.

“This might be strange to ask, but... where did you learn to dance like that?” Says the soldier who began watching just minutes ago, once the gem has paused. Even someone as plain in taste as herself could notice such composure and grace came few and far between.
cor(ps)e
After a brief exchange over text messages, she agrees to meet with an acquaintance of sorts; now, she sits across from him, the diner relatively busy around them despite being after lunch but before dinner. “So... you still haven’t said what you wanted to talk about. You said there was something important you had to ask of me?”

HIVE CITY MERCENARY CORPS.
The premise is simple; it looks to be nothing more than a small office in Sector One, nothing exciting about it. Its door, when opened, reveals a just-as-bland interior. A few desks, doored rooms toward the back, and sitting area just about encompass all that is to be met at first glance. However, little would one figure without digging around this is the office to a up-and-coming mercenary corps, actively recruiting mercenaries of all ages and experience levels to serve them. Training and materials provided in exchange for service, all soldiers will be extending their use to whoever they are employed to through the corps. What brings you here is an advertisement; paper, online, word of mouth, and here is the beginning to a new career for you.
This mercenary corps also accepts contracts if one were to wish to utilize this force.

command. Since it’s been a while and some of my ads and threads are old, like this for a 1-3 or so sentence starter! Will be selective, may vary in length and stuff like that!
frills and thrills
@meretriere
“Oh, I’m sorry, were you looking at these too...?” Says a dress-holding girl at a rack of other frilly merchandise similar to the one in her hands, moving silently over to the other side to allow room for the other to take a glance as well.
A quiet evening of just the three of them. Her two housemates retreating to the back to attend to their own evening tasks, Mukuro didn’t go to look; after offering to clean the kitchen post-dinner (though, this is routine for when she is home in the evenings), she sits in the bench of her backyard, looking up to the false sky, fussing with her long hair from time to time in an attempt to find peace with it; Morgiana presented her only earlier with a hair tie made up of accessories the soldier left about the house, accidentally. A familiar red-and-white bow and bunny hairpin were now attached to a thick rubber band...
I will embrace the past.
After over two years after her death and the events of the Mutual Killing, those two years spent here in Hive City, she could start to accept the events which seemed to just transpire before her eyes, helplessly so. The tie from her pocket goes up into her hair, the ends of the long ponytail now sitting at her shoulders, a feeling Ikusaba is little acquainted with. Many things within her heart sit, unresolved, if only for now. Her unnamed resentment toward past matters with her sister, even toward her predicament with Allen, the fluttering in her heart of both conflict and adoration and loyalty of its own. Even the artificial stars above look the slightest bit hopeful, she was sure one way or another... she would find resolve.
Normally, he lets people assume what they like – he’s not in the business of currying other’s favour. But she has his respect, if faintly, and there’s a part of him that jumps to correct her. She, at least, deserves to begin to know.
There’s also the matter of his pride.
‘They don’t “gain” anything,’ he replies. ‘I give it to them. That’s one thing I can do.’ He holds his hand up, fingers extended, as if to paint her a better picture. It’s one of many things. ‘It’s part of our agreement.’
Briefly, warmth touches the smile on his face, and it diffuses slowly like an old lightbulb turning off. He presses his thumb to his mouth.
‘… it’s not something everything can do.’
‘Thankfully.’
He’s plain in tone while explaining his situation, or rather the ability he’s granted with these weapons. It doesn’t make much sense to her, although it isn’t surprising considering her lack of super special abilities outside the ones prescribed to her as a Super High-School Level whatever. It sort of baffles her such a guy can do something so... fantastic.
“Oh.” Softly so, she lets out a gentle bit of surprise. “I see. I guess that shouldn’t be something everyone can do, although you don’t look the part of someone who takes to war with a bunch of swords you turn into guys, really...” Her honesty comes clean out of her mouth, not filtering much of her awe; for a brief second, she wonders what he must have overcome to reach such a powerful point. “Must be a pain in the ass to be stuck here, if you were doing something else more important like that...”
【雅】“Human civilization is art unto itself,” the uchi murmurs. “The rise and fall of empires, the prose of scholars mixed with the poetry of massacre–have you ever looked and found patterns in the process?”
“Insight is what I seek, and the Sengoku in particular affects me on…a personal level.” He was born quite close to the Hosokawa succession dispute, but his status as an art piece had kept him from much of the battles. Over 500 years passed before he was granted his present name.
“I will romanticize things, but the commentary in this volume is excellent. Most books are good speakers, yes, but few can debate quite like this one. He can see at a glance centuries of past experience, and hold a conversation equally well in tea ceremony or muzzle velocity. So–”
He paused, softening quite a bit. Most humans couldn’t talk to books, could they?
“–despite the dry tone, I am quite fond of him. The book, I mean. The actual volume that extends beyond the words inside.”
He sounds sort of like someone straight out of a lovely poem; something beautiful, but not quite understood by someone as straightforward and plain as Mukuro. Slow as ever to consider her own words, she digests his words before returning an answer. He must have some connection to this book, at least to know the people spoken of in it (his clothes would explain such), or to be awfully familiar with the period itself.
“Uh... Right... I guess the book is good, I like it. It’s well informed. Not much of a bias in the text, really... Did you need to borrow it? I was only refreshing my memory, I’m well informed of the country’s history when it comes to things like this, if nothing else, so... I don’t mind lending it to you.” Closing the book, the confused girl attempts to hand the book over to him, if not to make more sense from this guy. She had to be honest with herself, she was totally lost in his maze of words.
my inner demons
“H-Huh? Well.. Right. Let’s see…”
Of course he remembered. In this city it was something that could protect him and others, after all– Even then it was still rather taboo, wasn’t it? So he was hesitant at first but he still removed his cellphone from his pocket and opened the app.
“We don’t need to go anywhere! Th-This is it…” With that mention and a confirmed order, his phone lit up. From it, a creature was summoned– It was Poltergeist. Of course he’d choose this one.. Along with a few of the other smaller demons he had, Poltergeist wasn’t exactly intimidating so it might make a good impression compared to the other demons he had stored. “Demons.. I, uh… I can use my cellphone to summon them.” He probably didn’t need to explain Nicaea, right? “It also kinda boosts my own abilities too.”
“Without it I don’t really have much else but– Yeah… At this point, I’m not limited or anything. Totally uncapped!”
Daichi goes on with his explanation, and it all seems easy to explain, particularly with him making it probably more simple for her to grasp; she knows little of such things like magic even after two years in a city like this. He uses his phone to instantly summon a creature, and she can’t say she’s not impressed... and it’s sort of cute, in its own spooky way.
“And that’s it? That’s... very different. So you can have them fight for you, and you also fight yourself? That’s useful, if not convenient. Does... does it talk or anything like that? What else does it do?” To her own surprise, she’s questioning it more, if only to satisfy her fresh curiosity and not to only get the exact answers the soldier needs.
@shallowish
“... Kashuu-kun. Weren’t we supposed to make something for Morgiana-chan sometime? I thought you mentioned it before, if you don’t mind, I brought home a pie recipe she might like, and I’m not really busy right now, either...”
“Er… Height isn’t really a problem? But are you sure? Do you have a weapon or power of some sort? It wouldn’t be a good idea to go against me unarmed, I’m pretty sure, even sparring… Actually, maybe we could just work on physical attacks? I won’t use magic.”
“I am sure. I have weapons, I’ll use something like this rod to deflect your blows if you want. I don’t have any magic myself, but I’ll hope to keep up with you.” And she goes in for a strike.
