more sergio mendes. important for the culture.
brazilian legend. you probably have heard “mas que nada” but there’s way more to his discography. check it out
loving the new bbng project, and anything kaytranada is on is a hit
freetown sound is so good
spīca, jonboyice, chrismelh, and nicoswims killed the first half of this track. insane.
new migos is hittin
Listen to Summer Mix 16 by sugarmane
put out my summer mix a couple weeks ago. check out tracks by kaytranada, skepta, d’angelo, beach house, and many more.
‘still brazy’ sounds like the best parts of classic 90s west coast hip hop albums in a consolidated form. from the skits, to the snaky synths all over the album, there really isn’t a weak spot. political commentary is straight on, as the album finished out with the trifecta of “fdt”, “blacks & browns”, and the aptly-titled “police get away wit murder”. there are anthems, like “why you always hatin?” and “twist my fingaz”. i’ve been waiting on this follow-up yg album for a while, and not only did he avoid the sophomore slump, but put out a project that’s his best yet.
new kodak black mixtape is fire. arrives just as he deservingly hits the xxl cover as a part of 2016′s freshman class
more new kodak
this album is perfect uplifting music that makes you feel as if you can ‘be’ whatever you want. early yeezy beats are too nice....
more heat from ‘be’
the homies killed this.... every verse goes as hard as the next. watch out for those staff meetings
