He’s gone. (From Stefan’s wife’s facebook page.)

Some of you might be waking up to discover the unfortunate news about the untimely passing of actor Stefán Karl Stefánsson. The vast majority of you probably know him as Lazytown antagonist Robbie Rotten, thanks in no small part to the silvagunner-led surge in popularity to the song “We are number one”. Others might know him for his vast theater career, or even in the game For Honor. Regardless of how you came to know him, at only 43 years of age his death is absolutely devastating for a lot of people – the world is less without him.

Goodbye, Stefán.

This is Nicole Damarra and her guide dog Nev. In this video, Nicole is graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Social Science. Nev, in full cap and gown, is graduating with a master’s degree in Good Boy Sciences. The dean believed he deserved a diploma too because Nev attended every single one of Nicole’s classes.

Nicole is going to fight for the rights of disabled folks, seeking a PhD to help her do that. She is going to specialize in helping blind folks get better jobs.

Nev is retiring and becoming a beloved house pup. He is going to fight for belly rubs and table scraps.

His new brother Hughie will be taking over the guide dog duties. Hughie seems like a good boy too.

I wish them all the best of luck in their Good Boy adventures.

okay everything about this video is absolute gold:

the fact that the guy argues via the puppet the entire time

the music

“let’s discuss the contradiction”

the overuse of the word “camera”

the way the puppet goes from trying to placate the guy to actively arguing against the guy and like turning it around on the guy

“youre consciously making a conscious choice”

the fact that by the end the puppet is basically screaming and the music is just. so loud.

Concept: you’ve been married to your wife for 3 years. You wake up in your bed before she does, your nose cold but your body warm. Careful not to wake her, you get out of bed and your toes curl when your feet hit the cold floor. You brew a pot of coffee and take a cup, making sure to leave enough for her. You pull on a big sweater and walk out onto your deck, sitting in a big wood chair to look out over the forest. The leaves are orange and edged with frost. All is quiet as the sun rises over the trees. You hear the door opening behind you and your wife sits down next to you, wrapping the comforter from your bed around both of you shoulders. You sit there like that until the sun is well up and your coffee cups are empty.
