Human Resources (HR): I see you did well in school, but what real-world skills do you have? Interviewee: Tests. I can take tests.

This happens in almost every field of study. When you get to the real world they actually don’t care about your GPA as much as you might think. Learn skills and problem solving, not simply how to do well in your exams. <3

What are some of the dumbest things humanity has ever created that are still in active use?
Answer by Ajey Nagarkatti:
That everyone should have a JOB! That everyone should earn a living! I find the idea absolutely ridiculous! The only goal most people have is to have a job!
And why do we need the job? To buy things we don't need, with the money we don't have, to impress people we don't like!

They hate you if you're clever and they despise a fool

Why do so many people believe they are very intelligent?
Answer by Murat Morrison:
Mostly because they are intelligent in ways others can't comprehend. My ex was very smart about things related to genealogy, however she has no concept of numbers. At all. She always said that I was smarter than her, but I never had a clue about when birthdays were coming up for family members, or who was who and related how to whom. I was a dumbass in that department. Likewise, my grandmother could sew a dress from scratch in two hours without a pattern. Can you? She couldn't read and write, but she knew how much money was in her account to the penny. Ours is a very diverse and complicated world, and intelligences vary. I respect people for the skills they have and the way they think. Some people I once considered to be stupid are now the people I respect the most. Look for that hidden intelligence in people and always keep an open mind. Humility is a great sign of intelligence.
