So... I'd mentioned something in my IG about a project I had in mind, so here it is! The first image of a small series of drawings inspired by the LGBTQ+ characters from my favorite fantasy books.
Malec is a very special couple for me, and I think there is no better way to start this little marathon than with Alec and Magnus, the boy bitten by a really gay spider, and the freewheeling bisexual warlock. Thank you @cassandraclare for them 💖

Emma: Kieran is... Eagle Two.
Kieran: oh thank god.
And the winner is… Ty! With his “bonus” which is nothing less that Kit!
Thought about this later… if there’s someone who might have wanted separate pics I’m super sorry, don’t know why but they’re the first characters that I just picture together!
And to those who asked for Livvy fear not! She’s just right next with her “bonus” too (which I hope you’ll like too since it’s just a little something..)
In a theoretical "Detroit Evolution" musical, what vocal ranges do you think Reed & Nines would have (tenor, bass, etc.)? I may or may not have gotten inspired to write songs based on the film and I'd love to hear your thoughts. :) D:E is fantastic, by the way, and all the kudos to Austin for their score! I see you with all your variations on the "You Love Me" motif!
I can tell you that Maximilian has an almost four octave range, from baritone all the way up to falsetto, so you can do just about anything with Nines.
I can't really pinpoint where Chris's voice falls, but probably somewhere in the tenor range - as Gavin he goes lower than his natural voice by about a half octave, so Gavin may actually be a baritone.
Either way, they sing together here, so maybe that'll be enlightening:

As for Michael Smallwood, he's got a delightful Broadway style voice and once absolutely killed a karaoke rendition of Gaston, so not sure where that makes him fall, but there you go. Carla is probably an alto or soprano, and Jillian a contralto, although neither seems to consider themselves much of a singer.
Maximillian and Chris's voices are perfect together. This cover of Northern Downpour owns me now. It's actual perfection. I cried. Help me.

Just got to say,TID was a wonderful series to read(I cried) Absolutely adored the love triangle between Tessa Jem and Will because there was none of the petty fighting that you see so often love triangles nowadays. They all genuinely loved each other and wanted them all to be happy and I LOVE that. Which brings me to my question,if given the chance,do you think they could have had a polyamorous relationship? Or because of the time, they wouldnt?
Nothing is new under the sun — i.e. our current generations didn’t invent polyamory. :)

As for Tessa, Will and Jem, they had the respect and love between all three of them that makes me think they could have made a go of it. Unfortunately they never got the chance to all be together at the same time.
