Hmmmm... All those guns and people on the streets of Richmond Virginia on Monday (20+ thousand) and not one single riot... No shootings... No looting... No fist fights... No cars on fire... No trash filled streets when they were done (They cleaned the area to the point it was cleaner then when they arrived)... No Nazis... No state of emergency (Looking at you Gov. Northam, you black face wearing bastard). Just a mixed bag of law abiding people that want to keep the rights that belong to them. It’s... It’s almost as if the guns and law abiding citizens that own them are not the problem. Maybe the focus should be on the people who are breaking the existing laws. It seems to me that they (the criminals that is) are the people with guns that the Virginia government and law enforcement should be worried about. ---- I don’t fear the law abiding men and women pictured below, protesting the attempted removal of a chunk of their second amendment rights. I fear criminals that have evil intent, because they will find a way to do bad things to good people with whatever they have at hand (knife, car, bat, machete, poison, golf club, explosives, etc.) A new law isn’t going to stop a criminal when they are already willing to break existing laws. All that you are doing is making criminals out of people who currently obey the existing law. ---- That’s just my opinion. I grew up with guns and was taught the right way to handle them. It has been a while, but I hunt, and I shoot targets for fun and to improve my accuracy. I even have a brother in federal law enforcement. The stories he can tell you about criminals with guns would probably make you think twice about NOT owning a gun. He urges me to get a concealed carry permit, and one day I probably will. ---- As I said before, this is my opinion. I'm allowed to have one, just as you are allowed to have one... Even if it differs from my own.
