Cazuza (04.04.1958 - 07.07.1990)
Along with Raul Seixas, Renato Russo and Os Mutantes, Cazuza, both while fronting Barão Vermelho and at solo career, is considered one of the best exponents of Brazilian rock music.
In his 9-year career, he sold more than 5 million albums and achieved 11 number one singles and 18 Top 10 singles in Brazil.
Cazuza died in Rio de Janeiro on July 7, 1990, at the age of 32, due to a septic shock caused by AIDS.

I rarely interact with the music, movie, or TV show fandoms I belong to; instead, I hover like a mist, quietly observing everything. I’ve witnessed some fans behaving abominably to defend an artist, but—in my honest opinion—one fandom crossed every line of acceptability.
In 1983, Daniel Balavoine released a terrible song called "Les petits lolos" (look up the lyrics if you have the stomach for it). In 2026, the song crawled back out of the darkness; well, Daniel’s beloved fandom—I’m talking about the 80s-era crowd, respectable family men and women acting like teenagers—started attacking the victims of this kind of harassment. They blamed the victims—all to defend lyrics that are indefensible! It makes me wonder just how low a human being can sink to defend someone who died 40 years ago—someone who didn't even know these fans existed. A fandom behaving like a religious cult is one of the most irritating things there is. Even the fans of a certain French-Egyptian blond guy never stooped to this level of cruelty to defend him. It makes me wonder: if a person attracts this kind of fan, what were *they* actually like?
What’s funny about being a fan of an older celebrity is that they came from a time when
1) the media were already extremely invasive and did’nt care at all about their private Life.
2) they most likely never had PR training.
So you just stumble on the most unhinged and homoerotic interviews, pictures and videos, still available on the internet 40 years later (and often time without the context or Even any clue as why they’re doing karate in full drag). Love it.
Pls do share the karate in full drag
Okay, so I might have exagerated a bit for shock value but I still got some stuff to share.
