Style study of Yoneyama Mai! I’ve had to put my passion project on hold to focus on other things so I took the opportunity to draw one of the characters from it for the FE Compendium weekly challenge.

Yoneyama Mai’s style has really energetic line work but she also uses tone in places to do more subtle form using a mix of hard and soft edges. I feel like I learned a lot doing this!

nobody hopes these things, they expect them, which is a massive difference when you consider hyper-cautious and crass attitudes towards famous guys are symptoms of people used to going through bigotry and abuse, dispute or ignore horror stories if you see them, but don’t get all excited and caught up in building this narrative of the “gremlins” as if they’re these mindless angry boogeymen
