Kusanagi-Sensei said, she never thought Yona will be that long. She just wanted to draw.. Initially it wasn’t popular and she thought it might cancel halfway during the gatherings of the dragons. When she released 3 volumes, she thought maybe she can go til 5 volumes then management said it’s fine up to 7 volumes then that’s how it keeps on going. lol

There’s this another question, she was asked if she’ll compare AkaYona in climbing a mountain, what level is it now? She said 7th. (out of 10? so Yona is really near to its ending? I mean, i still have lots of questions in Yona? Just FYI, Sensei and HanaYume hasn’t announced anything yet bout the climax/ending of the series).
