No wait, Myrna is in the lead, they're fine! Been massively inspired by @_ashleysarts_ (on Instagram) to try and learn how to paint backgrounds/landscapes again - I'm not there yet but it's fun! This is on the rougher side, I think I would tighten it up a little more for the comic! Added the dingus group in there to get a feel for how my pages could possibly end up looking! Going for that Brother Bear look ❤ thanks for looking!

Attempted a different style of painterly background, I've never tried the grayscale method before, it was a lot of fun! Popped the idiot's in there and made a sort of banner? Attempting to teach the pulp I call a brain is trying but interesting, always teach your pulp!

Another sketch, not sure if I have the patience to finish this one! This a little follow on image to a silly sketch from last year wherein Mac gleefully tells Aisling of the time a spooked Bry got himself tangled in low hanging branches - only to have his tail plucked by squirrels while Mac was out gathering him something to eat! Bry is essentially a teen at the beginning of the story and is prone to dumbdumb

That feel when you're a clumsy dolt and accidently step on a hare who then guilt trips you into carrying him around until his leg heals - ignoring the fact he let himself get stepped on by a deer of course! Figuring out my cast and taking a stab at some early character designs! Two of the four, a young buck and the hare equivalent of Uncle from RDR2. He's got Lumbago! Not really, but a case of the lazy for sure!

I've been working on this girl and her forms for a story I have in mind (for layer obviously, I need to finish my short story first!) and I'm pretty happy with it so far! I hope you like this concept work! Also yes, I was raised on The Last Unicorn, I am old!

Finished Olea and her babies, Nóttmáni(standing) and Elli(laying down) - I imagine when she's solo she leave the babies for a little at a time to go and grab some food. The girls would of course get up to sibling shenanigans but thankfully not stray. Pretty sure deer usually do that! Elli belongs to @atroquine and Nóttmáni belongs to Willow(I'll have to grab the tag when they're online!)

Guess who has a soft spot for old, raggy characters? That's right! Me! This is Dag and he's the lop-eared halitosis king round here! I'm thinking his halv will be a scruffy Blackbird? Dag is jolly, unflappable and still surprisingly light footed despite his gammy leg! Likely the reason he's lived so long! I haven't decided if he's a relation of Thorpe’s yet but I popped him into their line-up for now! It was getting a little crowded with them all in there!
