i like to think that part of the reason battat is so fucked up is because he doesn't get shaken enough. like

im pretty sure the rest of pippins would have a habit of shaking each other, and battat is probably not social at all. i doubt he even leaves the green room without Mike costume on

i like to believe they have an inate sense of who hasnt been shaken and HAVE TO SHAKE THEM, so on the rare moments battat is uncostumed in public they all swarm and shake him silly
