Was looking through some of my old notes and found a start of a Ratz fanfic I never finished because I only did it out of boredom from one boring afternoon 😭 decided to share it here despite how terrible it is
The S.S Wanderer had docked somewhere freezing cold — snow falling from the sky, the dock was covered with a layer of thick snow and so was the rest of the city. Where were they at? If Rapido wasn't wrong, he's heard that the Captain thought it might be a good idea to stay in Canada for about a whole month for a vacation. Since when did they do vacations? Rapido thought.. but hey! More time to laze off. (as if he doesn't already do that-) But nevertheless, they were there. No turning back now. He didn't really expect it to be so snowy and cold this month. Rapido wobbled as the ship reached the docking area and lowered the anchor. His ear twitched in slight irritation. "Canada? That's.. something." He looked through one of the porthole windows. "I would've preferred it if we docked in Miami! Tropical is more of my thing..." A quick pause. "Hmm. But if I'm not wrong, I think I've heard Razmo mention Canada once.. was it about home? Or was it that he just wanted to go visit Canada? Ah, whatever." He puffed a breath through his nostrils and shook his head. Why does he even remember that? Sure, he was a little mean (Okay, maybe a jerk) but he does tend to remember a lot of things Razmo likes and doesn't. They've been friends for a long time after all. Rapido walked down the hall and entered their apartment. He shuts the door behind him with a soft click. Aaaaaand as he thought things could get any worse for him, the shorter rat was already packing his luggage! Jeez, that's a lot of things to pack. I mean, yeah, one whole month.. but for once Rapido didn't feel like exploring despite it being a part of his nature. It was just too cold outside! He finally approached Razmo. "And just what exactly are you doing?"
He asked. His tail slowly wagging behind him, somewhat patiently or just tolerant. "DID YOU HEAR THAT, RAPIDO?? WE'RE IN CANADA! AND BEST PART IS THAT IT'S FOR AN ENTIRE MONTH! A MONTH, RAPIDO! DID YOU HEAR THAT?!"
Razmo spoke very quickly and loud with his.. rather crazed excitement. Hands trembling, eyes wide and everything. Oh boy.
And yeah I don't know how to write a proper fanfic especially with some of the symbols, it's like super choppy with the paragraphs💔 And I like adding my own thoughts into it using the "()" thingies
