Here's a little AU snippet, it's lowk generic but there's three kinds on how the infection affects the civilians (I SUCK AT BODY HORROR, if you guys have any terrifying concepts that would be awesome)

Category 1 is them turning into mindless violent zombies and mutations are rapid around the 48 hours or less

Category 2 is a half infection that still has awareness but the victim will still have body mutations

Category 3 is that the infected looks perfectly fine but they will act feral or rabid with violent and sensitive animal traits

Also this is how to tell an infected in early stages (despite it looking like a seemless wound) I'm still working on the idea on how the infection spreads other than those who accidentally ate the contaminated rations

For those wondering (+ a little backstory 👀) Nino is unfortunately an orphan, he had to survive all alone until Rapido and Razmo found him—poor little guy. Luckily! our duo is there to make his life better!
