Hagrid.. well if anyone will know what to do with a creature it would be the creature himself. I hope Elphaba feels less wanderlust soon.

Professor Hagrid is not a creature. Well, he is in the sense that we're all creatures but not in the pejorative sense that he's somehow less than human.

Well if you have no friends to send letters to, I suppose you could lend her out to the post. I don’t know, I’ve never had to worry about keeping Heathcote busy. He’s well trained.

I have friends, I just tend to talk to them when I have something to say to them rather than send them an owl. And Elphaba is well trained. She''s just a little out of sorts is all.

Oh, and perhaps we could use Elphaba to deliver some of them. I'm sure she'd like to help out too.

Apart from letting her roam free and trusting that she’ll come back when you need her, I have no idea. Maybe she could take letters to people around Hogwarts and Hogsmeade?
