REBLOG if you are a Carmilla (the web series) RPer
You’ll be added to this awesome totally just made list
Have to be an RPer in the Carmilla fandom.
OC’s are cool to reblog this.
Gotta girl the hell up.
That’s true. She’s as in the dark on the details as we are, which is all the more unsettling.
Supposedly in the dark. But sure. Yeah. At least she's on our side now.. she knows more than we do, in any case.
"You’re more out of the loop than I thought," Carmilla said after an extended period of quietly examining Danny. She wasn’t even going to remark on the leather pants thing; she’d been trying out black denim for a solid week now. Chuckling, Carmilla stood up and walked to the fridge where she knew Laura kept the "quality" cupcakes, reserved especially for guests. Even as unwelcome and unwanted as Danny was as a guest, it gave her a reason to break them out and finally have one. "No, the dean didn’t get me into the school to save people." Carmilla dropped the package of cupcakes onto Laura’s bed after taking one for herself. "And not that I give a damn about your opinion of me, but I’m an ex evil minion of the darkness. I’ve been helping girls as well. Saving them. Well…trying.” A sudden realization that her voice had gone far too soft in front of the Amazon made Carmilla sneer in disgust. “But that’s not what Winter Society is about. I told you, geez, do you ever listen? We’re here to destroy overly tall people. Or annoy. Seems it’s working thus far, and I didn’t even have to break a sweat. But this is getting far too tedious for my liking. Why are you camped on Laura’s bed and going through her crap? Does she know you’re here?”
This whole thing was absolutely ridiculous. Danny couldn't see how Laura actually trusted the vampire. For all she knew, this was part of Carmilla's ploy with the dean: Pretend to be an ex evil minion of darkness and death, only to lure the unsuspecting, entirely too trustful, tiny female that trusted her to an untimely end. "Right. Of course you are." Danny barely stole a glance at the cupcakes, regardless of how delicious they looked, now was not the time to indulge in baked goods. "Sorry if I have a hard time believing that a few weeks apparently doing good outbalances all the bad. You're a good liar, I don't see why they're so trusting." From what Danny understood, if the dean was so all-powerful, Carmilla herself would have been taken and punished by now. "Which is actually even more of a waste of university funds." She rolled her eyes. More than trusting Carmilla, Danny had no idea why Laura even liked her. "She knows. I'm comparing notes and catching up. Someone has to actually protect people around here. Regardless of how.. out of the loop I am." She might not know the goings-on in this particular room anymore, but Danny was intent on knowing everything else there was to know.

I suppose that makes sense. I do believe that saving someone is possible. Who that someone might be, I’m not sure. Carmilla’s adamant that when the girl’s are taken, there’s no getting them back, so, I don’t know what to think.
But didn't she also say that she didn't know for sure what they did with them? After the girls are gone, she seems to be just as in the dark as we are.
You shouldn’t make promises you might not be able to keep, Danny. I’m as determined as you are to help the girls and make a difference, but I’m slowly coming to the realization that we might not be able to do as much as we’d like, you know? It’ll be a miracle if we all make it out alive, Carmilla included. Though she’s dead, so I supposed that would end up being over-kill for her…
That was a horrible joke. I apologize. I won’t make jokes anymore.
I know, but if I don't promise, that's just as good as letting myself believe that it's not possible... and I need to believe it's possible to get them back... but yeah. I know what you mean. It's kind of getting more intense than I think any of us bargained for.
That wasn't that bad... That was almost funny, actually. ... have I been spending too much time with the zetas?
Considering I got LaF kidnapped, I’m pretty sure she and Perry are less than understanding at the moment. Carmilla… I don’t think anyone is ever going to know where she stands. No one takes us seriously, which is more of a reason to prevail and come out of this entire weirdness winners. Forget those who are too focused on our personal lives, we’re going to save Silas.
They get it. There's a certain amount of risk with truly hard hitting investigative journalism. And we'll get LaF back. I promise we will. And hopefully we'll be able to save at least some of the missing girls in the process.
Carmilla’s smile faltered, but she didn’t allow Danny to see how much her words had affected her. Dark eyes shot down to Laura’s notebook in Danny’s hand, and then back up to that perpetually smug looking face. Laura had seen the whole world in those stupid noble words Danny kept spitting out, and that pissed Carmilla off. “I don’t count myself as a waste of tuition, Behemoth, and I doubt all of the girls I’ve saved do either. As for my family, well…” Leaning back on her bed, Carmilla ran her tongue over her teeth and shot Danny a hateful grin. “Let’s just say I’m not exactly welcome at the family Sunday picnics. Besides, they’re only one danger out of hundreds on this ridiculous campus. Winter Society protected quite a few people from the mushroom incident. Summer Society, what, played softball during that whole thing?”
"Oh yeah, because that's why the dean got you into this school. Definitely. to save people." Danny rolled her eyes and opened the notebook again. Carmilla didn't even deserve her time. As though an idiot idea like the Winter Society would ever take off... or it might, if the useless vampire managed to get the dean behind it. The whole idea of Carmilla and how she'd infiltrated the school with her weird brood of kidnapping vampires was infuriating, and Danny wasn't sure why they hadn't gone above the school to the feds or something. Enough girls had disappeared for at least an FBI investigation, she was sure. Unfortunately for Danny's sanity, she couldn't stay quiet, couldn't ignore Carmilla. She dropped the notebook on the bed beside her, forgetting her page completely in favour of defending her group. "No. Actually. We broke up our softball game in favour practicing our tosses and batting skills against the mushrooms." For the record, Danny's team had been winning. "And we saved several students, thank you very much. What's the Winter Society anyway? Just you and your leather pants?"
"You never know," Carmilla responded easily, recovering from the horrible shock and disappointment of seeing the amazon on Laura’s bed as opposed to, you know, Laura herself. "See, we’ve got this Summer Society here, but between you and me I think they’re just using the school budget to buy plastic stakes and pretend they’re all Buffy." Sitting cross legged now, Carmilla smiled proudly at Danny and gestured to her hand-made t-shirt.. "The Winter Society though, we’ve actually got a purpose. Target and eliminate all co-eds standing taller than 5’11" because they’re ruining movie night for everyone by always sitting in the front row. A noble club goal, I know.”
Danny slipped her finger in between the pages of Laura's notes to keep her place. She shouldn't even be entertaining Carmilla's particular brand of brooding idiocy, but making fun of the Summer Society was going just a touch too far--especially after all they'd done to keep this campus safe. Safe from people exactly like Carmilla. "Oh? Are we going to talk wasting school funds now?" She raised an eyebrow and closed the notebook around her finger. "Did you even pay tuition? Or did mommy just let you in?" And as far as danger... "And it seems to me that your messed up little family is the danger around campus here."
Without one word of explanation Carmilla walked into her room, sat down on her bed, and stared silently at the person across from her. It would have been a normal occurrence aside from the fact that Carmilla had on an obnoxiously neon pink t-shirt with the words Winter Society scrawled in black Sharpie across the chest. “So, I’m starting a new club. Completely original idea. Want in?”
Danny had been using some of Laura's materials--with permission of course--to do some research in the room when Carmilla came in. She'd thought that the darker denizen of this room would be gone for at least another couple hours, but Danny never really fancied herself a great predictor of vampire scheduling. At least Carmilla hadn't really seemed to recognize that it wasn't Laura, so Danny thought she might be able to ignore the girl. Although that belief was rather short lived. "Oh? And what are you going to do? Terrorize the co-eds instead of help them?" Winter Society... what an absolutely load of crock.
Sometimes I think you’re the only one who really gets it.
Well I'm sure LaFontaine and Perry definitely get it... and probably even Carmilla. But as far as your viewers... I was hoping they took us a little more seriously than that. It's been a lot of work to get the investigation going, and to report on it... Where are the questions about that?

Why do people think that this is any of their business? People need to get a grip and start respecting women and their choices.
All anyone tries to speak with me about regarding the videos is my personal life, I suppose at some point I’ll have to get used to it.
Or they could be interested in your content. What you're doing is serious investigative journalism. It subverts all women trying to break into the field if all anyone wants to know about is sex and appearance.

Halloween is over!
Hopefully now those natural beings that believe in pranking over this wonderfully spooky holiday will tone it down, and we can get back to dealing with that actual things that go bump in the night. Sound good? Great. Thanks.
We need a revised weapons policy at Silas.

I know you wouldn’t have, I didn’t want to make you somehow feel worse. Especially because I still feel really badly about how it all came out. Me being under slept and overwhelmed is a horrible combination for social interactions of any kind.
It's okay, really. We're all ridiculously stressed about it all. It's not like I was really primed for social interaction either. I'm just glad we're talking again... I've missed you.
