What do you mean he cared about the animals because she cared and jump into action the moment he had an opportunity???
What do you mean he stayed loyal to his girlfriend at the time but also make sure to demonstrate how much he appreciates Elphie and was proud of her going to make her dream come true?
What do you mean he heard Madam Morrible speech and didn't believe a single word despite not even had been there to really know?????
What do you mean he immediately jumps on his horse and ride from Shiz to Emerald City IN A HEARTBEAT??? Just to find her!!!
And when he learns she ran away, he stayed and play pretend for FIVE YEARS just to have a single chance to reach her????
Just to run away WITH her????
And then give himself up to the government he betrayed just to save her once again????
And she was the person who made him remember who he was after the scarecrow transformation????
And he still loves her and didn't judge her for the way she tried to save his life???
Not ONCE did he thought she was wicked??????

P.S: just watched Wicked For Good and the way he was SHACKING in fear to leave everything behind, knowing his life would be so much easier marrying Glinda, and yet, losing Elphaba again would be worse than torture and death!!! THAT'S MY MAN 🫵🏻
