Hey guys? Can monsters die of a broken heart? Is it possible for monsters to die of sadness? Emotions can either increase or decrease the production of important hormones such as adrenaline. Adrenaline has the effect of narrowing the main arteries, putting a person in a situation where they may die of heart failure. Humans can die of sadness and a broken heart. I just wanted to know about the monsters can die of sadness and a broken heart.

Im not sure if this is supposed to be directed towards my actual au or the blog o if this was sent to the wrong person, BUT if I had to answer this I would say yes it's possible. I dont see why it wouldn't be. If the sadness or broken heart ended up taking a monster's HP then depending on the monster and how much HP they have at the moment, they could possibly die from a broken heart. Sadness in humans can lead to strokes or heart attacks if it's great enough, so i figure the same would be able to happen to monsters but stronger monsters like boss monsters wouldnt be too affected due to their high HP.

Sorry for the lack of posts! I promise I've been developing this AU. I have designs that Im working on for Mettaton (as shown here but he will have more outfits besides this one lol), Papyrus, Sans, Alphys, and Undyne. I want to re-do Napstabot, still need to design Asgore who's the other huge part of the AU, and I feel like doing a comic for this AU would be the best way to go about everything. I'm planning on quitting work soon so I'll be able to focus on not only school, but also this project! I hope you guys are excited cause I sure am! ^-^

RaveTale Napstabot

Napstablook was a simple ghost who loved to make music. They were an independent musician who worked with their friend Shyren from time to time on songs. They aways thought they were never good enough to even come close to the incredibly popular DJ D.G. [Dad Guy] (Asgore). His cousin, Mettaton, believed he could be just as good if not better, though, and convinced the blook to finally settle into a body of his own seeing that as a ghost they wouldn’t have much of a chance to get noticed by the public eye. With the club technician, Alphys’, help Napstablook became Napstabot and took the indie world by storm. Though their previous 6 managers have all gone missing, they’re hopeful their new one, Frisk, will be able to help them rise to the top of the music industry. This is my design for RaveTale Napstabot, who is the main character in the AU. Before you ask, NO. This is NOT an UnderSwap spin-off. I just generally enjy Napstabot and thought it worked much better in the AU than their blook form. The other character designs will come in time. A lot of the party/club-type characters in the AU have at least one article of clothing/accessory having to do with lights for the night life, but robot characters have MUCH more. Light-up clothing is the main spotlight for robot designs. Napstablook doesn’t have nearly as many light-up articles on him compared to his cousin, but he still has them such as the strip running down both sides of his legs, the soles/heels on his boots as well as the patch on top of the toe, the bands on his jacket, and even his soul and eyes. Mettaton will probably be next up to show the comparison between the two, but all the characters I’ve found spots/stories for will be up at some point.
