Let Me Take a Selfie by Twinsimming 📱

This mod frees both the “Take Self Portrait” and “Take Photo Together” interactions from the Jock Influence skill in The Sims 3: University Life and makes them available to everyone Teen and Up.

(Bonus points to anyone who gets the title reference!)

Requirements

This mod requires The Sims 3: University Life.

The Sims 3: World Adventures is recommended to use the full functionality of this mod.

Autonomy Improvements

New Interactions

 - Take Self Portrait (Teen and Up) - Available under Smartphone -> Camera, boosts Social Networking and Photography skills

 - Take Photo Together (Teen and Up) - Available under Sim -> Friendly, boosts Social Networking and Photography skills

To make sure there are no duplicates with the interactions still tied to the Jock Influence skill, once the interactions are unlocked at the appropriate Jock Influence level, these freed interactions are hidden.

Autonomy Improvements

The above interactions now attract sims with the following traits to perform them autonomously: Charismatic, Schmoozer, Photographers Eye, Star Quality, Diva, Social Butterfly, and Irresistible.

Tuning

All tuning values can be changed by editing the ITUN files of the original interactions.

Localization

As these are existing interactions within the game, there is no need for localization as it has already been done by EA/Maxis!

Conflicts & Known Issues

This is a new script mod so there shouldn’t be any conflicts.

this is Giulia Feliciano, the middle child!

shes... artsy... but im so mad! the game wont randomize the artistic trait for her! and shes already a teen.. T_T

she just woke up one day and wanted to paint, and that she did!

really like her... i shouldn't have favorites but i think she's pretty neat

im also not doing the portraits part of the challenge, i get that the most interesting part is hanging up their pictures in-game and letting them see etc but i hate having to take like a million pictures on the phone for them to look nice lol my sims dont have the skill for that !

and what if i dont want to raise a painter? thats a bit annoying too

im using a family tree thingy online, ill count those as portraits :D

this is Luca Feliciano

hes the first born of second gen, he has two younger sisters

hes a very sweet kid, but i still dont know what he'll do as a career or something like that, hes also not very good in the romance scene, that worries me a little bit

it shouldnt come as a surprise but i really really like him! Luca is my favorite pixar movie and so i was happy to name him that

i named the middle sister Giulia (also from the movie) and if they had a boy as the youngest, i would've named him alberto! it wouldve been nice to have the trio lol but i guess you cant have everything

Introductions

this is the current family tree! i've been playing with this household since the 8th, and since today is the 10th of July, i'm a little advanced, hehe :)

this is the founder of the Feliciano household, Antonella Feliciano, her traits are: Over-emotional, neurotic, natural cook, green thumb and a coward

I tried to add some negative traits as well so it wouldn't get boring, hehe

she also has the celebrated five star chef lifetime wish as I think it would be fitting for the world of Monte Vista, with plenty of townies in the culinary career

since I've been playing for a little while, the family's already a little bit advanced ! Antonella is in a relationship with Elenora, a teacher, and already brought in the second generation of the Feliciano family, three kids.

Antonella is in the culinary career, already at level six, so I'm pretty close to finishing her wishes

I really like her and debated if I should really go for her as the founder of the family, because I wouldn't be ready to see her go when the time comes, but I'll admit that it has been fun to play with her and seeing her achieve her lifetime wants

this is Antonella's wife, Elenora Sparza (now Elenora Feliciano)

this is the one rule that I broke with the challenge, Elenora is a spouse that I made.

but I have a reason for doing so: everyone that was interested in Antonella was 1. dying or 2. already married and (for some reason) didn't respond to her flirting. but when they would flirt with her she'd respond, so I got angry and put in another lady that I've made some time ago! (Antonella was also running out of time for the pregnancy, I got desperate! :(

they still got their kids and I don't plan on doing this again for future generations

Elenora, just like Antonella, is already an adult, she is in the education career as a high school teacher, her traits are: Excitable, neat, nurturing, green thumb and friendly

her lifetime wish is to have the perfect garden

i'm also really happy to play with her because i find her really pretty and like looking at her face lol ! she also gives me strong woman vibes yknow!

first post wow!!

i started this blog because i dont want to bother other people that i know with my sims gameplay but also want to talk about it all the time

i am currently shooting my shot at the sims 3 legacy challenge, because everytime that i tried i ended up starting a new save or dropping it, maybe by posting about it in here will help me finish this time :)
