An animation I made for the song "Chalk Outlines" by Ren featuring Chinchilla. I only did the first verse due to time constraint (it was a class project). It's the first time I ever did an animation like this (mixing After Effects and ToonBoom Harmony, animating text, etc.), but it was a lot of fun and like with a lot of my projects recently: I learned a lot!

It helped that I was animating to a song that I really enjoy and had a few ideas for. The original lyric video is cool, but I felt like making it feel more personal (following a character, being a little blunter in regard to the story telling) would make the song more impactful. It's not perfect, but I'm happy anyway!
