“You can’t just... hide my shoes, Stefan, what -” torn between frustration and amusement, Andromeda’d found herself at a loss - and a ridiculous one, at that. “I have to get to work,” she continued, and, if her voice had taken on a layer of pleading, or if she pulled on a puppy face as she crawled back onto the bed with him, batting her lashes, well, that just wasn’t her fault, was it? He wasn’t playing fairly. “Come on, Stef, take pity... We left early yesterday, I've got too much to do to skive off today. Be a good man, won’t you? Perfect, and handsome, and sexy, and mine, and... not trying to make me late.... Tell me where you hid my heels?”

bloodstained-gentleman:
The ceiling of the Great Hall had remained relatively unchanged despite the change in temperature that had occurred outside. It was misty and chilly his morning when he had gone on his run. Evan’s runs had started as a way to help him sleep on the nights sleep was elusive, but this year they had morphed into something of a morning routine. Anyway, while it was misty and chilly when he went on his run this morning, it was pleasant when he was walking back from the greenhouses not too long ago. Evan found it very odd. Shouldn’t he sky have also changed along with the temperature?
The sound of his name pulled his attention away from the ceiling. Andromeda and he were eating with some friends of theirs, but he could have sworn she had just said his name. “I’m sorry, could you repeat that?”

Though Andie herself was also an early riser, she’d never seen fit to put herself through the grueling torture of a morning run the way Evan did. Instead, she went about her business, taking her sweet time getting ready, enjoying a leisurely stroll through the grounds to the owlery and back, and usually, like today, she was just getting herself settled at the table for breakfast when he joined her and the rest of their friends. He seemed fairly well distracted, though; she was sure he hadn’t heard a thing she’d said to him at all, and for a few moments, she turned her attention elsewhere, leaving him to his thoughts, but that didn’t last long. “Ev,” she said. “Evan. Are you in there?” she asked softly, her voice teasing, and when he turned she couldn’t help but laugh.
“Evan, honestly,” she said, shaking her head as her laughter died off. “Your head must be in the clouds. I asked if you knew anything about that,” she repeated, gesturing carefully along the table to where the Flint girl was seated, flirting with someone Andie didn’t quite recognize. “That’s the third boy this month. Isn’t she supposed to be getting married soon?”
Wow, I haven’t been here in a minute...
I’m part of a few cool games right now, my own, and one belonging to a friend, and due to resurgence of muse, i’ve been spending all of my time there.
If you’d like to join me, the blogs are Itinerarium Maraudentium and If There Be Thorns. Both are Marauder Era games, and I would love to write with you.
This is not simply a shameless promo, I promise, but I have a tendency to spread myself thin, so I don’t want to make promises about being extra active on this blog and then not keep them.
If we have threads, and you want to continue them, let me know, and I’ll do my best!

“A thousand years or more ago when I was newly sewn, there lived four wizards of renown, whose names are still well-known: Bold Gryffindor, from wild moor, fair Ravenclaw, from glen, sweet Hufflepuff, from valley broad, shrewd Slytherin, from fen. They shared a wish, a hope, a dream, they hatched a daring plan to educate young sorcerers thus Hogwarts school began.”

I have been neglecting this blog, like a lot.
But life is crazy, and so am I, and whenever I get a proper chance I will be back daily.

"I suggest sustenance before the boys go slightly mental over quidditch gear.” Lyra mentioned. “They’ll be there for hours if not disturbed.” She chuckled as the boys looked put upon by not being able to have their fun. “You must wait for your treats, boys. That way it’s much better.”
She walked to a posh looking restaurant which boasted supposed French cuisine. The architecture spoke of 16th century France and the decor was elegant with the standard white carving and statues. No garish trimmings. She was pleased until she read the menu. She looked at Draco, quite skeptical. “Is this really French, or is it lying to us?”
Nodding at her sister’s decision, Cass snapped her fingers, speaking the name of her elf as she did so. “Elys,” she’d said, and a moment later, Elys appeared, Cass kneeling down to meet her. “Will you take our new pets home for us, Elys?” With a smile for her elf, Cass continued. “Make sure Athena is secured in Lyra’s room. The cat is currently nameless, but let him roam and get a feel for the house. Their supplies will be delivered later this afternoon.” With an affectionate pat on the head, Cass gave Elys her leave, and with a second pop, the elf was gone, cat and owl in tow.
As she and the rest of the group followed Lyra to the restaurant, there was plenty of idle banter, but Cass paid little attention to it until Lyra’s query, though it was directed at Draco. "I’m sure it’s fine, Ly. A place like this can’t bastardize the food or menu very much without losing the right to declare themselves French.”

He cursed himself for the Slytherin wariness. He should have factored that in. Sometimes he didn’t plan things through. He watched as her hand fluttered over the paper of the package. “We both know Amaryllis wouldn’t deliver you something dangerous.” He soothed her. “I’m sure you will be safe. I am here after all.”
he waited for her to open the package with a certain amount of impatience and anticipation. He covered his sudden nervousness with eating some more of the meal.
She gave Blaise a look of the ‘are you serious?’ variety, raising an eyebrow to add emphasis. “She’s an owl, Blaise. She delivers packages, parcels, letters, and the like. She doesn’t inspect them before hand.” Rolling her eyes, she again regarded the parcel with great skepticism and suspicion.
Blaise’s clear impatience, and over-confidence did neither of the things she was sure he intended them to- she was neither reassured, nor further inclined to open the parcel in the least. Finally, she withdrew her wand from it’s place in her thigh-sheath, muttering the handful of charms and spells she trusted would warn her of impending danger, and when nothing happened, she set about unwrapping the parcel carefully.
She was going to kill him.
"Blaise...” she started, trailing off as she shook her head. “You’re absolutely infuriating, did you know? You could have simply said it was from you, and we could have skipped this interlude entirely.” After a sigh, she finally found her smile and leaned into him once more, giving him a kiss. “Thank you.”

justanotherenglisheducationmajor:
He chuckled at her “I wouldn’t think f dying just yet ” he looked at her deathly serious. “You may just resurrect me only to kill me because I didn’t allow you your bridal moment” he said as he walked down the stairs only to offer his hand to her. They had better hurry. The sunset often off set the light quite gorgeously.
He walked her down the stairway, every now and the there were sub-levels and mysterious doors, he hadn’t explored the entire mention as of yet. With a gentle yank of the handle the back door swung open to reveal endless rows of vines that help the grapes to make the finest of wines.
“You’re thinking too small, darling; you underestimate me. I wouldn’t dream of bringing you back again for denying me my bridal beauty. I’d do it because you died before we wed, leaving me to inherit nothing,” she returned, giving him a wicked smirk. Mirth, sarcasm, and feigned darkness all aside, she followed where he led, taking in the beauty of the estate.
“Will we be watching from the vineyard, then?” she asked curiously, not having expected to see one on the premises, though no surprise showed in her voice or demeanor. “Or is this merely a brief stop along the way?”
