Hi, hope you're doing well! I remember seeing something at one point about a physical release for realta being in the works, was just curious if it still is :)

Doing my best to! It’s still in the very early stages. My health is ass and the additional work that it adds is kind of a lot, so I’ll probably hire someone to help me if I can afford it

Do you draw with references? I’m a beginner artist and I swear I cannot draw well without one, it always looks funky :(

Also do you have any drawing advice? Your art style is so amazing, I wish I could make art like that!!!

ALWAYS use references! Always!! Drawing is a muscle that grows the more you practice, and references are the weights. You can’t know how to draw something without observing it first.

As a beginner, I used to copy. But don’t copy, then post on the internet saying it’s yours. Do what is called “master studies” where you do try to copy a piece of art you love as closely as possible, and either never post it, or call it a master study copy of (artist.) That’s how I learned what styles felt fun, structure, color, everything.

Once you draw 100 studies, try combining different references and couple that with your own imagination to make it your own. Then do more studies. The cycle of improving never ends.

One more piece of advice: redraw old art! If your old art looks ugly, that’s good. It means your artists eye has grown stronger 💪🏻

I want to make an OC and I was wondering... all the libras dress like pirates?

Not all, I think of Aeráil like the pirates of the Caribbean. Upper class wears fancy frocks, lower class has their down to earth fashions, and then there are also pirates

If masculine geminis typically have more colorful wings, and the twins both have black wings, does that technically make them male-presenting intersex, or are they just an exception?

Depends on the bird kind they’re based on. They’re based on the common grackle, which have dark brown wings before turning iridescent when they get older
