Heya, I'm Nikol, and I am the author of a fic called "Rayman's Origin" (which is codenamed "Rayman Rewritten"). While this is a blog dedicated to the fic entirely, it is also a Rayman fan blog that is kinda biased toward Rayman's design in Rayman 2.

I genuinely hope to make friends here in the Tumblr Rayman community, and I'm excited to get to know you!

Author's Note

Heya readers, friends, mutuals and followers! Now that Rayman Legends Retold is announced and is in fact real, there is one question I will answer.

Will this affect "Rayman's Origin"?

The answer is no, the rewrite will proceed as normal and as planned. While yes, I know Betilla is back in Legends Retold, this does not change the ending of my rewrite whatsoever.

The rewrite will stick to its original plan, ending and characterization, with no changes whatsoever.

Honestly, even if I can't get the console needed to play Rayman Legends Retold (I'll probably get it eventually, idk...), I do know one thing: We are so back.

Rayman Legends Retold being made with help from Monolith Soft (Monolith Software) was NOT on my 2026 bingo card. Those are the same fucking devs who made XENOBLADE CHRONICLES. I AM NOT JOKING.

Update: Guess the person that told me got confused, guess it's not made with help by Monolith. I'm sad. I'm also sad that I can't afford a Switch 2, so I guess I have to get a Steam Deck.

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon but you play as Rayman and your partner is any of the characters from Rayman 2 And the bosses are Robo-Pirates and Primal Dialga is replaced with the Grolgoth

Possible dialogue for an alternate scene where Rayman doesn't disappear and come back, since Dialga doesn't exist, instead it's based on the final cutscene where Razorbeard sets the Grolgoth to self-destruct. Rayman: [Partner name], please get out while you still have a chance! The Grolgoth is going to explode if you don't get out of here! [Partner name]: But I can't just leave you here! Rayman: If you don't, then the Glade loses another inhabitant that matters! [Partner name]: But... you've taught me to be stronger! To fight until I can't! If this world loses you, then...! Rayman: Then you must fight! Fight for me! Be strong for me. ...Because I've already won. (An alarm sounds as the self-destruct timer reaches 5 seconds.) [Partner name]: Rayman! Please, we have to go together! Rayman: ...As I said... I've already won. Now go! Get to a safe place! Fight for me! The world needs someone like you! [Partner name]: ...Rayman... I'll... I'll try. (The partner character runs off screen to attempt escape, while Razorbeard is about to escape himself.) Razorbeard: Hahaha, good luck trying to break your fall! (Razorbeard flies off in his escape pod.) Rayman: ...Well... here goes. (Rayman braces himself as the Grolgoth causes the whole area to fall apart, then it explodes with him still holding onto it, the screen goes completely white.)

I'll be honest, I took a walk and thought, "I sounded like I was making people feel bad for believing in this leak. I'm an asshole for that." And with that being said, I am very unbelievably sorry.

If you guys believe this is real, then I'll believe with you, just cautiously. I was being stupid and wasn't thinking.

Heya friends, Nikol here! Just wanna put it out there that yes, we got a Rayman Legends remake leaked, however, I personally will take it with a grain of salt, considering the sources of where this leak is coming from.

I'm not saying you can't believe or anything, just have cautious optimism about it, because leakers are usually, most of the time, wrong or they're right but got some things wrong about the game they leaked.

Until something comes out (e.g. State of Play or Nintendo Direct, etc), I will be taking it with a grain of salt. Should it be correct, then let's hope it turns out like we hope it will turn out. Anyway, aside from that, please have a good day! You are loved and you matter.
