I fear no matter how much I talk about it, I can never stop thinking about how it feels like Robin and Nancy were MADE for eachother. Made to boost each other's stories, even if the Duffers were too stupid/pussy to let it happen.
They both underestimate each other's intelligence due to preconceived notions, realizing they're way more alike than they thought and then they CLICK. IMMEDIATELY. One interaction where they realize they were wrong and you never see them leave the other's side. (hell, Nancy basically refuses to allow Robin to leave her side in One way or another)
They clearly understand each other's issues, dealing with misogyny and poor treatment from "popular" kids when they were younger in Highschool. And they work SO fucking well together on a fundamental standpoint and ugh im sick
Nancy preferring to stick to facts and reason everytime while Robin does the same but "you never know", maybe Elvis was cloned by aliens.
And god, Nancy NEEDED another girl to love in her life after Barb, and Robin was friends/knew Barb too. (cannot remember if they were ever established friends, I forget)
That fucking Reagan sign too, Robin could've helped Nancy come out of her shell as a queer person, could've been way more of a guiding force than she was even for Will, and GOD I LOVE THEM IM SICK :(
I am lowkey just yapping about them but guys you have to understand how perfectly they fit together as a couple and im mad they werent even properly treated like best friends in s5
