A laugh escaped him at her words as he pulled her closer. Using his free hand he tilted her chin back before kissing her deeply. He didn’t pull away until he knew they both need air, leaning his forehead against hers while they both caught their breath. “I’m pretty positive that I have the same person in mind. Or else we might have some problems.” He told her with a grin. Hearing that she wanted a baby with him someday made him want to take her right now and start practicing to make that happen. If it had been anyone else hearing them say they wanted children with him would have made him panic, not because he didn’t want children, but because most people would say they hadn’t been together long enough to even be thinking about them. But with Rayne things were just different and he felt good talking about these things and loved thinking about his future with her and loved knowing that she too though about things to come. “I can imagine that. Little bitty you laid up on a bed surrounded by comic books.” He smiled and ran his fingers through her hair. James had never felt more at ease and content than he did right now in this very moment, with Rayne in his arms, in an environment that he could relax in. “A very perfect fit.” He said softly, pressing a kiss to her forehead as he held her close.
She would never get used to that. The feelings that exploded throughout her body every time that his lips touched her skin. Every second that he kissed her, it was like fire just built up inside of her until it was ready to burst out of her. She barely even noticed the fact that she was running out of air until he had slowly pulled away from her. Oh how she wished that they didn’t need air when he was kissing her so thoroughly. It took a moment for her to recover and for his words to sink in, but when they did, it brought a huge smile to her face. It was so, so reassuring to hear that he was feeling the same things that she was. That he was just as interested as having a future with her as she was with him. God, she had no idea how she had gotten so lucky. Maybe it was her terrible childhood finally trying to balance itself out with the most amazing man in the world. No matter what though, she wasn’t going to take him for granted. She let out a little laugh at him before pulling him slightly closer to her. “And you know how I love to avoid problems. Not to mention, I hate to break this to you, but I really don’t think I’d do so great with sharing you if you didn’t want to have a baby with me someday.” Rayne teased him, tugging on his shirt slightly with a smirk. “Oh, you know it. There would be so many comic books. Not to mention posters on the wall of Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, the whole gang.” Rayne admitted, closing her eyes slightly in relaxation as the image filled her mind. After a few seconds, she spoke up. “You know, I want to met your family and see the rest of the house, but this is ridiculously comfortable, and I don’t want to leave here either. This is such a dilemma.”
