EMERGENCY PLUSH COMMISSIONS
I'm sorry, friends, that I've been absent the last few months. My husband has been dealing with health issues that were finally diagnosed last month. He hasn't worked most of this year and we've scraped by. But we need help.
His disability hasn't paid us since early June since it took us so long to see a specialist and we missed the deadline. We're currently in an appeal so he doesn't lose his job but we won't know anything until Ocotober at the soonest. Plus with me having to take time off work to take him to his doctor's appointments, which are an hour away and an hour back, we're very short on money this month.
I know I can't do anything else but keep working and sewing. I wanted to get a second job but no one can help with our 5 year old munchkin so I can only work while she's in kindergarten. It hurts for my husband to stand and even sit because of the degenerative arthritis in his spine so it's hard for him to help with her.
I know I'm rambling but I'm scared. Our bank account is overdrawn and I can't pay for our mortgage or anything else this month before it's due. Minnesota has a program called Charity Care that helps with our medical bills and we are receiving food stamps so that helps there. But our bills are another story.
