Comments like that aren't going to get anyone to write or continue on a project again. Frankly, continuing writing out of guilt without the passion or drive that one started out with most likely wouldn't create a product anyone would feel proud of or even comfortable with sharing on the internet

Don't get me wrong, I'm also one of those people who finds a fic they really like, but one that hasn't been updated in months if not years. I also get kind of disappointed when those fics reach an abrupt end. Yes I also want to know what happens next, same as any other reader.

But leaving comments that make it feel like a demand to write more, when creative writing should be a thing of passion, not a chore to gruel over, really isn't going to get anyone to writing again.

Rather, and this is just a subjective opinion as both a writer and an active reader, comments that we write under works we like should show that we like them! That someone's liked someone else's work enough to write a comment showing just that.
