the thing i love about madariaga is that he is definitely the 'professor comes to school and Changes His Students Lives' but the fact that he isn't the main character makes his story much less affected it could otherwise be. and he is such a recognizable humanities prof™; the classes exercises he gives them are sodidactic, he just feels very familiar and more realistic even than usual
