cooper gave her a look, one that painted his face in a way to let her know she was being too ridiculous for words to even describe. “so, is he going to eat only seafood for his entire life until he can learn to cook on his own? y’know, that might scar him for life. he’ll tell a therapist one day, “yeah, my mom only let me eat seafood growing up. i think that’s why i have an octopus fetish.”— it will totally mess him up.” he groaned slightly at the contact, his hands going around her waist again, holding her there tightly. he knew exactly what she was insinuating, but he wanted to play along just to see what her could get her to say. “oh, yeah? do you wanna watch an episode of parks and rec on netflix?”
her brows stitched together again as he spoke, rolling her eyes as he got progressively more ridiculous. “i grew up eating seafood most the time. am i fu--don’t answer that,” she quickly clarified, laughing to herself. his grip grew tighter on her waist and she grinned again, loving what she was doing to him. “parks and rec?” she mused, laughing lightly. “hmm, i was thinking something a bit more, uh, vulgar?”
