"Might as well make myself comfortable, since you're such a good host." The blonde muttered while applying some of her eye-liner and mascara before putting the make-up away. "Hmm, I don't recall..." - She played, smirking widely as she peeked over at him. Hands curled around the mug of coffee, the scent making her sigh in relieve. "Thank you." Liana turned her face to look at him, watching as he spoke about his family and mother specifically. "No wonder, she's such a sweetheart. I love her so much." Which was genuine. It was no lie that his mother and her got along pretty well in the time that they had been together. At the mention of her not knowing they split up, she scoffed and shook her head slowly. "Why won't you tell her?" She asked while taking a sip of the coffee. "She deserves to know." Liana took another sip. "Are they more people who don't know?"

Beau watched her settle in like she owned the space, brushing mascara along those long lashes before tucking the makeup away. "Don't recall? alright. That's why you woke up in barely anything," he scoffed. He brushed his hand over his thigh, sitting opposite her. When she spoke about his mom, the warmth in her voice was genuine, and it sank deep. It meant a lot — more than he wanted to say aloud. “Yeah, she adores you too,” he offered quietly, brushing a hand over the back of his neck. But when Liana pressed, teasing and sharp, about why he hadn’t told her about the split, about who else didn’t know, he felt that old sting rise up. “I don’t know,” he admitted slowly, meeting her gaze as he shrugged, voice low but honest. “It hasn't come up in conversation." He shrugged. "My friends know, the girls I can now hook up with when you aren't here know," he said, teasing her. "But my mom cared about you a lot. I don't want to hurt her with the information I guess.."
