I like Legion of Super-Heroes! It’s not dethroning my other favorite team books of the era but the sheer but it’s so solid throughout. Id say they’re below the JSA but above the Terrifics in my DC team tier list, but that’s subject to change when i read other iterations of the team at some point. Anywho with regards to the Reboot continuity my favorite Legionnaires are (in no particular order):

Brainiac 5

XS

Gates

Star Boy

Ultra Boy, Cosmic Boy, and Sensor are honorable mentions. But they’re all really great, i havent met any member i really dislike.

Today, I finished reading "Galaxy the prettiest star." I absolutely loved this comic. It was so emotional for me, especially towards the end. The story and art are really amazing, and I can't wait for more Galaxy comics, whether that be her own solo comics or teaming up with Dreamer.

I was looking up Phantom Girl bc i wanted to remember what her disco suit looked like and man this is Jaime Hernandez art! What a surprise!

Yknow there’s a lot you could say about this costume (it’s silly, little too horny) but honestly the big thing that comes to mind is that it’s just kinda dull. I dunno, maybe it’s the color, ive always liked the contrast of white and pink/red-violet on Saturn Girl’s outfits so just solid pink doesnt do much for me. And you could say “but Stephen you don’t have that problem with Dream Girl” well 1)……..😏. And 2) she’s always had the silver hair/silver one-piece schtick since she debuted so it isnt a downgrade like this is, it’s her signature. Plus she works that shit a lot better.

Honest to God this makes me not hate on the Saturn Girl costume quite as much. We got EQUALITY in this Legion. Only thing i don’t like is, if i didnt know this was Cosmic Boy i wouldnt recognize him. Like maybe he shouldve had some circles or some purple on the suit portion. Either way, damn….what was going on with all these skimpy outfits, was there some kinda influence? This is like that one early episode of TNG but it came out years before. Very curious.
