“That’s a good sign, then,” Rory mused, smiling and letting out a laugh, “Less stress? Why’s that?” She tilted her head at that, a bit confused. “What’s going on? I know everyone’s seemed, like, on edge lately, is it about that?”

“No, no,” the girl said with a shake of her head. “I noticed that you were speaking with that male, is everything okay?” she asked, wanting to make sure that she wasn’t actually being told off by him or something. “No fault, no harm. — Isn’t how that goes? Either way, I’m fine, so no worries.”

“Yeah, totally,” Rory let out, looking back over her shoulder and grabbing the girl’s hand, “Just come with me, yeah?” She pulled the blonde along, turning a corner and ensuring they were out of the man’s eyesight. The brunette let out a deep sigh, closing her eyes. “Thank you,” she let out, giving the girl a smile, “I just needed to get away from him. I don’t think he’ll follow if he saw someone with me. Nothing to worry about, though. Everything’s fine.”

At the other girl’s explanations, Addie felt herself beginning to grow slightly guilty, though at the same time she knew very well every human being felt the same way about all of these things. But was it really all that bad to be selfish every once in a while? Letting out a deep breath, Adelaide puts on a grin, going onto shrug her shoulders. “I guess that’s why at the end of the day snow cones might just be the best thing for those of us who complain about forty degree weather.” 

Rory smiled, nodding her head. “For sure,” she hummed, “And ice cream. There’s so much good cold treats to have in the summer.” She thought for a moment before tilting her head, “The one thing cold weather does have on hot weather is that you can keep putting layers on until you’re warm, but if you’re too warm, you can only take so many off before it’s weird.”

“No, sorry, I think you have me mistaken,” Rory let out quickly, shaking her head at the man and shrugging, putting an earbud in her ear before turning, walking away with her head down. Her body bumped into another, enough to cause her head to jerk up, frowning. “Sorry,” she let out quickly, “I wasn’t watching where I was going, totally my fault, sorry.”

Anywhere in town, one could feel the shift in the atmosphere. About what? Margo wasn’t exactly sure. Something to do with the clubs probably. After all, they owned this town and everyone else was just living in it. “You know, I’m starting to get a serious case of FOMO around here. Where is the twitter account that keeps me updated on all the drama that happens in Jericho, because I seriously need to know.”

“You can feel it, too?” Aurora asked, glad she wasn’t the only one, “It’s like... everyone is on edge or something. Everyone is so snippy and people keep whispering and then shutting up when you walk by. It’s eerie.”

“Or you got roofied,” Rory mused, looking to the blonde, “Could be why you can’t remember. Hopefully not, though. That’d be a shitty night.”

Adelaide’s eyebrows knit together as she thought for a moment, before a smile went over her face, and she began to laugh. “I never really thought about it like that. I mostly just think about how miserable I am and sit up all night… complaining to myself,” she shakes her head, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. “Oh yeah. I have no doubt about that. But I feel like I missed out on tons of fun going sledding and all that as a kid. That has to be so much fun.” 

“Most people do, I think,” Rory mused, nodding, “But it’s just funny how often it happens, right? Like, we do it over almost anything that’s inconvenient. Like, even just having to wait for something half the time turns into is this ever going to be over?” She tilted her head, musing for a moment before nodding along, “I guess, yeah. There’s tons of stuff that looks fun for snow but it just looks so cold.”

“Holy hell,” Nicolette stopped running long enough to bring the bottle of water to her lips and start pounding it. Her chest was rising and falling quickly fighting to control her breathing as she pressed her eyes closed a moment. Finally, she pulled the water bottle from her lips. “Girl goes for a run and it turns into ‘hey don’t I know you from the website, ya know that website.’ guy starts to get weird and close which means girl has to run a little faster. If you didn’t figure out I’m the girl - I’m dying - and I really want a cheeseburger.” 

rory was stunned by the girl suddenly running up to her, staring at her a bit confused. “pardon?” she asked, a bit confused before finally processing what was going on, “oh, oh. ew, i’m glad you ran, that’s too creepy. is he gone? did you lose him?” aurora looked behind her, growing worried now.

Rory thought for a moment, tilting her head. “Yeah, but I think that happens with any unpleasant feeling,” she mused, “Like when you have a stuffy nose, you forget what it’s like to not have a stuffy nose and think you’ll never have that feeling of being able to breathe freely ever again.” She shook her head at the second question, looking to the bruentte, “No, I guess I haven’t. I don’t know how much I would like it, though. I hear it’s pretty cold.”

Rory Lynn had a very rough childhood, being born to a teenage mother suffering from drug addiction and was taken from the home and placed in foster care at the age of three, never being adopted and continually being bumped from home to home until aging out of the system at eighteen.

Once aging out of the system, she struggled supporting herself, leading her to dropping out of her final year of high school in hopes to find a job that provided her enough money to keep herself afloat.

Rory ended up finding money in stripping, eventually leading to prostitution, where she currently is stuck as it provides the money she needs to pay her bills.

She has recently started hanging around the Vixens, interested in becoming a prospect but unsure how it works, wanting to find a home and family within the MC, willing to do just about anything to find that.
