B.A.P - Do What I Feel
B.A.P - Thatās My Jam
doodlings
aaah I'm sorry if I'm missing something important or anything but none of your links work for me. I click the little floating souls and the url in my bar changes but nothing on the page itself actually alters ;-; i don't know if i'm the only one that's had this issue or not
Hello, hello, Anonie! There's a simple explanation to that, and it's that I'm a lazy bum. I haven't finished my theme yet so it's still work-in-progress! If you'd like to plot something with me, come off anon and we'll work something out!
( kid )
He knew his friend well enough to know that no amount of apologies probably wouldāve satisfied that child. Soul wasā¦standoffish? Perhaps that was a fitting word. He wasnāt unfriendly exactly, but he wasnāt entirely open either. Perhaps he could even be described as downright cynical. Soul dealing with girls is certainly destined to turn out terrible in some cases. To think this guy was actually popular. He heard the gossip. Heās pretty sure Soul is almost as popular as he was.
Thatās not the problem here. How would he handle it? Thatās a good question. Itās an easy answer. Kidd wouldāve gotten down on a bended knee and spite out a few sweet nothings, probably made her feel like a princess and offer her candy, or even ice cream. Anything to silence her tears.
āAn elegant apology and the promise of sweets probably wouldāve silenced her tears. I bet if I apologized and said you were aĀ ājerkā she wouldāve accepted it. Does it matter now? Sheās long gone finally. I donāt think I couldāve withstood her screeching tears a second longer.ā
SO BASICALLY KID HAS MORE OR LESS THE same thoughts as him and that much is expected considering large crowds with glowering glares and stares did them nothing but gloom. Itās not the good kind of attention either, and one might even say itās worse than getting hurled around the battlefield a few times or a hundred. Humility and embarrassment, ah, the sweet joy of awkward burning sensation of guilt tripping shame. A scowl etches its way over his annoyed features; heās not happy about being told what he shouldāve done, and perhaps itās his stubborn trait thatās rolling over his common sense and bringing out the pride that heās perched so high up on a pedestal.
ā COULDN'T YOU HAVE SAID SOMETHING? ā he mutters, mood suddenly grumpy if anything. ā You know, like being a good friend and all. ā And that comes off rather sarcastic, but Soul doesnāt mean it like that; itās dry humour, and perhaps even unwanted humour at this point. He lets it go, shoving his hands into his pockets, and comes to a decision to leave all the social etiquettes to Kid, because apparently heās got good ideas and Soul doesnāt. Again, heās salty, but hey, at least theyāve escaped tough glares and disapproving glances. Damn, this will probably effect his cool factor.
HE DECIDES ON TAKING ADVICE FROM the young Death, because thatās probably more or less a useful skill to have. Kidās honesty tells him that heās annoyed too, but at the same time has enough manners to treat the situation with the best possible answer. Yeah, thatād be nice. Mastering the art of manipulation, truly terrifying. ā So, you up for it? It'll probably save Maka from losing all her hairs before she even turns 20. ā And it'll probably save his friends from getting themselves dragged into awkward hell, but he doesn't mention that, nor does he admit to it.
puts a keychain accessory in his scythe hole(s). it has her name on it. and a cute little bell with a ribbon on it.
AND CUE IN AN ANGERED SOUL in his weapon form, his usual rounded eyes slanting, how obvious his annoyance is splattered all over his steel-like edgy features. Did Maka think this was a game? Did he, the last named Death Scythe, look like some kind of toy to be decorated with? And in all modesty, even if he minded little of said decors, why did Maka choose something as ridiculous as ribbons and flair, bell to complete the incredulous look? ā The hell do you think youāre doing ?! ā But thatās not all, did she really think such an idea was necessary for their situation? Especially considering they were in the middle of the battleground. Harmless training on both Meister and weapon to sharpen their skills for the real battles, but no matter how playful their fights may have been at the moment, it certainly isnāt something to take light of. Soul twists the head of the blade, shouting profanities at Maka, and most of the anger stemming from his embarrassment.
HE DECIDES THAT THIS SESSION is done and over with, light enveloping his body as he lands on foot beside the pale headed Meister. To his dismay, lo and behold, a ribbon nesting snug in his ash featured hair, and a bell to compliment the disgusting choice of appeal. Really! Makaās gotta be out of her mind for doing this to him. Lord Death, what has he done to deserve this kind of abuse ?!
āIāll be your wingman!ā
ā WHOāS GOING TO BE WHOSE WINGMAN? ā he sneers, rolling his eyes, and clicking his tongue. Though he has some kind of respect for his fellow scythe, didnāt mean anything; he doesnāt have to show it, and he certainly doesnāt plan on showing it any time soon. Despite his choice of words, the obvious ridicule written on his face festers and climbs to new heights. Itās one thing asking to be his confidant, but straight up claiming that role? Nah, not on his watch. Soul has nothing against personal relationships with his close friends, but this is Makaās dad asking and that thought alone is just weird as hell. Itās also awkward, but that much is evident. He makes no indication to change his mind, but he does loosen up because cool guys like him are, well, cool and Spirit is in no position to compare. Honestly, what kind of man goes around flirting with women left and rightā¦. Not cool, not cool at all. Yeah, he definitely does not want a man like that as his confidant. ā There aināt no way Iām letting someone as lame as you be my wingman. ā
ć CALLING THE RADIO HOST, YONGGUK !! ć
SEOUL CITY IS NOTHING NEW, NOTHING he hasnāt experienced before. Where Seoul is bustling busy with decorative lights aligning the streets and boastful goods through merchants, Death City blooms with rowdy trades of its own, casinos littering the sidewalks, and entertainment paints the entire city in vibrant colours. Er, sort of. The cobbled streets with its twists and turns, the never-ending winding stairs, and the purple gloom that hangs over the city is a mere faƧade for the fun that lies beneath. Nevertheless, itās Soulās favourite place to be, but Seoulās gotta be all right, too, since heās staying for a while and all. He checks his watch for the time; itās half past midnight and the cool summery air touching his sleeveless arms and legs suddenly feels a little too cold. A shiver runs down his spine, making note of the lack of people out on the streets. Itās late after all, he doesnāt expect there to be many out anyway.
SOUL MAKES HIS WAY DOWN THE STEPS leading to the park and he sees even less people about than on the streets. Though in particular a man and his stalker catches his eye. The stranger probably doesnāt realize it, but heās being targeted, and had it been any other night, heād probably be as good as dead. Soul watches intently, catching the murderous intent of the Evil Human. It seems no matter where he is in the world, whether itās the States or in South Korea, they continued to roam and devour. ā¦and itās honestly the very reason heās there to make sure nothing happens; itās not this person in particular that he wants to protect, itās just his sense of duty as a demon weapon. Besides, itās what Maka would do. He tails behind them from a good feet or two, red eyes watching evil from underneath his hood. Theyāre out of the park now, but the streets on this side of the city seems just as deserted.
HE CONSIDERS HIMSELF RATHER STRONG but he pales in comparison to when heās being wielded by his Meister. That being said, just because heās short of his partner doesnāt mean heās ready to back down and watch an innocent man be torn to pieces and eaten. Itās certainly a concept heās used to, but something he prefers not to practice for obvious reasons, clearly. A few blocks later, the Evil Human turns and disappears into an alleyway, probably seeing that thereās another tailing behind him and his prey. Soul figures heās weak and new at this, but with the worst kind of addiction. Anyway, theyāre safe for the meantime, and heād rather not revisit tailing a stranger again, but itās probably too late to just turn away, so he stays and halts in his walk. He digs his fingers further into his pockets and hopes he gets let off easy. At least heās young, but his crimson hues emit a darkness thatās seen much of life and death combined. Shady, he probably looks shady as hell. Oh, well.
ā UH. ā HE WRACKS HIS BRAIN FOR A SOLUTION thatās probably not as creepy as the situation right now, but coming short with pretty much nothing but stupidity. Suddenly his acting skills are gone and heās left with basically nothing to work with. ā Do you happen to know where the subway is? ā Luckily he saves himself last minute, scarlet orbs scanning the area and fortunately notices the lack of subways. ā Iām new here, so⦠still getting the hang of signs and all. ā
( blair )
Ā Ā Ā Perhaps sheshould be nicer to him, that is, nottorment him in such a way. The thing is, this is how Blair shows how much shecares about him. Yes, she can be clingy with plenty of people, but the desireto remain in a sole place with someone else is something she hasnāt experiencedin a while. Ā And she knows it might lasttoo little, which is why sheās trying to hoard him and Maka for herself, so tospeak; she knows Lord Death will take them eventually.
Ā Ā Ā Ā However, such depressing thoughts have no room in her mind right now, so she pushes themaway, instead watching with just as much amusement as he storms out of thebathroom. Sure, she wasnāt trying to get him to leave, but itās still funny tosee he still canāt deal with her tits. Even so, she doesnāt want him to goaway, because the whole point of sneaking in was to see them and be with them,so sheāll have to comply with his wishes for now.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā āIf I puton a towel, will you come back in~?ā she calls for him through the closed door, though makes no movement to get out of the tub. The waterās so warm and niceā¦butshe doesnāt want him to leave, so sheāll have to get out. She has been in therefor a while, anyways, so sheās very much clean and pampered.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā āYou wonātsee my tits, promise.ā
AND SO SOUL FINDS HIMSELF at wits end because a part of him is trying to convince himself that heās a cool guy and that cool guys like him are used to seeing naked full bodied women, yet the more rational side of him is tugging him at the collar, leashing him back because heās reminded of certain things that are kind of important. On one hand, he could just leave and wait until Blair collects her shit and gets out like sheās told to so many times, but then he remembers that this is his home and by no means should he let an uninvited guest wander in the proximity of his shelter. Soul drops his head and sighs in distress. He almost wishes Maka would show up and hammer him down and save the day.
HEāS ABOUT TO JUST LEAVE, giving up altogether and hoping that Blair somehow ventures elsewhere to disturb the peace when she speaks up. Mind you, heās still a bit suspicious but sheās never fully lied about something so he trusts her, only because theyāre friends and heās weak to his friends, no matter how ridiculous they may be on the occasion. Itād be an understatement to say there werenāt traces of suspicion in his eyes, but he turns to look over his shoulder and grumbles out in agreement. ā Were you so bored that you just had to come around unannounced? ā To think cats had better things to do with their lives than cling to the company of others, how ironic, yet Soul canāt really come to complain; her companionship is different from his other friends, but it certainly isnāt short-lived. ā You know you couldāve just asked to come in. ā
( maka! )
⦠With Soul out of the way, she had been given free reign to do anything she wanted without his dumb ass chiding her for whatever decisions she was going to make. Maka stretched & laid out on the sofa before curling back up, obnoxiously taking over the entire space as usual. She was sore & needed a good massageāperhaps some painkillers and another slather of aloe vera on her back. The sweet feeling of air between her calloused toes melted like the ice in the glass of water she left on the coffee table a few minutes earlier.
Ā Ā Ā The chlorine smell wouldnāt get off her hair no matter how many times she lathered & rinsed it. The TV buzzed with the excitement of some popular drama show whose name she didnāt know. Where was Soul at, again? He was off doing something fun with Blackā Star. Hot springs. Relaxation. Maybe Maka should have gone too. She stretched once again, slumping oddly into the sofa while watching the faces of the nice looking guys on the screen. Was this really what her life had surmounted to? Her, alone, lights off, watching a drama full of hot guys whose names and lives sheād never invested in? Sheād read a book but sheād read all of them. Sheād go to the library but it was 8:36 PM and the library had closed a while ago. When was Soul gonna come back with food? The refrigerator was empty & she clearly told him to get groceries.
Ā Ā Ā After an hour of lazing around without a goal in sight, she heard the door open with a creek & shut with the carefulness of a mouse. Did anyone expect her to hop up, excited, to greet her weapon as though heād just come back from hell-raising war? Of course not. Instead, she retreated back into the fort of blankets & pillows and closed her eyes, hoping heād mistake her to be sleeping. It didnāt register to her that he probably brought food with him & that pretending to sleep wasnāt going to help the empty in her stomach, but it was too late now.
MAKAāS SILENCE IS IRKING AND Soulās beginning to think sheās plotting his death, somehow knowing that he failed to get the food that both of them probably needed for the upcoming week. Itās not until he stumbles on the lump of pillows and sheets on the sofa does he realize itās Maka and that sheās⦠sleeping? Suspicion creeps up on him, renders him curious with unanswered questions; Soul slides over, fingers burrowing into the sheets before yanking them off with one successful tug. He doesnāt even consider the lack of groceries heās returned home with and the red prints and bruises on his face and probably everywhere else. Soul doesnāt consider the punishment or the possible punishment his Meister has in store for him. Women are savage as hell. This includes Maka and he sometimes wonders if heās slightly masochistic for angering her purposely, and then getting chopped like his death was planned.
ā OI, MAKA. WAKE UP. ā It takes a little bit and some to rouse Maka from her sleep, or so-called-sleep; sheās not fooling anyone. With the lack of response from his Meister, Soul resorts to desperate measures (or not really, but heās sure this will work; it always does) and plants his hands under her head and knees, lifting her with ease. Sure he didnāt expect Maka to pipe up happy and overly excited like Blair or BlackāStar, but he certainly didnāt expect her to downright ignore him. Even the slightest bit of glance in his direction told him that his Meister was fine, yet this time she lacked all of those simple gestures. One wonders if sheās unhappy about something; perhaps during his time away something happened. Heās not an ass like strangers often perceive of him to be; itās little things that he does that proves them otherwise, and yes, he handles his comforting in a different manner, but heās never short of soothing touches and warm hugs, especially when it concerns Maka. Call him gross and whatever else, but his Meister comes before anyone and anything else.
THAT BEING SAID, HOWEVER, IT still doesnāt exclude his snarky comments; lips quirking into a smirk, he taunts her and extends his arms out as a threat. ā Iāll drop you if you donāt tell me whatās up. ā
( kid )
āI could start with how lack luster your apology is. She probably doesnāt think you mean it. This isnāt Maka you know.ā
That poor girl was only being friendly. Kid feels bad for her. He only came to point out that Soul was being a jerk, but now heās sharing in those judging stares. It really true when they sayĀ āguilty by associationā. How uncomfortable.
āYou couldāve told her off a little more gently. That wouldāve made you look far cooler.ā
OKAY, SO HEāS CLEARLY NOT the brightest person on the block when dealing with little girls, heck, heās not even that great with women in general, but thereās some truth in Kidās words and he takes them into consideration. Itās not that heās rude, he just doesnāt know how to word things, and usually when he tries, it hurts others. Itās a personal aspect to him, heās truthful, but blunt, and sometimes his stubborn trait transcends into his unpleasant words. Fingers card through his hair and suddenly heās wishing he could be less awkward about everything; Kidās stares certainly arenāt helping. To make matters worse, when the childās mother comes to pick her up, she throws more than enough dirty looks in Soulās direction. Ah, yes, the pure disappointment of a motherās glare. Exciting. At least he has his dry sense of humour despite the situation.
WHEN THE CROWD DISPERSES Soul turns to observe his friend from the corner of his eye. ā And pray tell how you wouldāve handled that? She was practically bawling before I got a chance to explain myself! ā Heās really not sure if asking a OCD embodiment of Death for advice on how to please the public eye was such a good idea, but heck, his friend might just surprise him.
( blair )
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā āThereās noneed to yell, you know. The neighbors are gonna be mad at you~ā
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Indeed, it takesquite a lot to get on Blairās nerves, which she considers to be an advantage. Humanscare way too much about everything, instead of just accepting it and trying to live with it. Prime example rightnow being Soul, who instead of making the best out of the situation- or atleast what sheād consider men would do right now- he stares and yells as if sheāsthrashing his house. She didnāt even break a window sneaking in! Sheās beingcareful not to damage anything.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā āI thoughtthere was nobody home,ā she shrugs, as if it was obvious, even though they bothknow she wouldāve done it exactly like this even if sheād realizes Soul was inhere. Besides, she knows that he wouldnāt have let her in if she told him shewas planning on bathing in his bathtub.
ā Ā Ā Ā Ā āSides, your act of being mad at me kinda fails when youāre still bleeding from thenose~ā Blair chuckles, twirling her finger and levitating a towel from a shelf towardshim, āYou look really tense. I think you reallyneed a bath~ā
SO NOT ONLY IS SHE COMPLETELY in denial of her faults, sheās also blind to it. Then again, what did he expect? Sheās a cat, not a human; if anything, itās probably considered weird if she didnāt show up in his home. Soul has to remind himself that sheās a cat, yes, a feline, and heās supposed to be cool about the situation; instead, heās still nosebleeding like Niagara Falls, and it takes more than a few rolls of tissues to blockade that running. Thereās no doubt about it, if Maka were here heād probably get the worst kind of beating ā even if it wasnāt his fault. Truthfully speaking, a lot of things werenāt his fault but as of late, heās gotten the worst end of every case yet. Heās starting to wonder if someoneās trying to conspire against him or something, but that thought is fleeting, as he has more important things to deal with. He shoots her a glare, scarlet hues narrowing, and before she can taunt him further, heās up on his feet, and bolting out the apartment doors.
ā LIKE HELL I NEED ONE !! ā
A COOL GUY LIKE HIM SHOULDNāT be running from something so minor, but for the sake of his life, heād rather not bleed to death. From his nose, no less ā what a way to go; he can already see tomorrowās headline news. A shudder runs down his spine as he camps outside his apartment suite, waiting for the damn cat to dress or something. Honestly, whatās he doing out here when sheās in there? Any guy would probably jump at the chance, and creepily, the face of Spirit flashes through his mind. Soul crinkles his nose in obvious distaste. A cool guy wouldnāt cheat, and he certainly isnāt about to. Er, in the most platonic manner, he corrects himself.
ć CALLING THE DEATH SCYTHE MEISTER, MAKA !! ć
HEāS CURRENTLY WALKING back to their shared dormitory with a hand print as red as the flames of the seven hells on his cheek. Back slumping, and feet dragging with every step he takes, Soul grumbles miserably, muttering something about an unfortunate encounter with Satan himself ā except Satanās a female, or should he say females instead? Considering the many bruises and bumps on his visage, one could say heās gone through hell and back. Itās not his fault he walked into the womenās bathing room by accident. Soul blames it on BlackāStar; if it wasnāt for that loudmouth who continuously rambled on about what an amazing big guy he was, Soul wouldnāt have walked into the ladiesā room. It definitely wasnāt and still isnāt on his to-do list and as perverted as a man might be, getting slapped and kicked and essentially roundhouse kicked into hell and back, definitely overshadowed the pros.
SOUL IS THE EMBODIMENT OF all things salty; to make matters worse, itās him that walked into the womenās bathing house, not BlackāStar. Itās like all the gods in existence decided to get together to make his life a living hell. Thinking back on it, itās probably karma for all the times heās pissed off his Meister. Speaking of his Meister, Makaās probably waiting for him at home, and that list of groceries he was supposed to buy? Nonexistent. Somehow heās feeling a little less alive and more dead because why did he think it was a good idea to return home empty-handed? Oh, right. To escape the wrath of some odd numbers of she-devils. Soul inhales a breath of air and braces himself as he flings open the door. To his luck, sheās not there, and heās counting his luck by numbers now, hoping she doesnāt pop out of nowhere and hammer him into pieces for neglecting his chores.
( blair )
Ā Ā Ā Ā One of thethings you should considerate upon associating with Blair is that she is very clingy. She craves attention andcompany all the time, perhaps because she didnāt get to experience such in quitea long time. Whatever the reason might be, sheās managed to sneak into the apartmentand of course, the bathroom, because sheās feeling rather icky and needs towash herself.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā That hewould burst in is a bonus, of course, and Blair is quick to show her amusement, leaning over the edge of the bathtub to glance at the young man freaking out infront of her. Ah, yes, good olā Soulās alwaysfunny to watch.
Ā Ā Ā Ā āWeārefriends, right? So I thought Iād come here and keep you company~ā she flicks afew drops of water at him with her fingers, āwanna join in~? Thereās room inhere for two~ā
ā WHAT KINDA BULLSHIT IS THAT ?! ā His yelling only increases with how calm she is about the situation. But then again, when isn't she calm about anything? Her edging out of the tub doesn't help with his nosebleed, and his head reels back as another spurt of blood guns from his nose. Hand pressed to his nose, he points accusingly at her, anger marks dotting his features as he yells for her to leave. What she's doing, it's no better than trespassing even if they were friends. Just because he's a cool guy and is used to seeing naked women (or so he claims...) doesn't mean it's right for anyone to just waltz in without his permission and use his apartment like they owned it. ā How many times must I tell you to use the door and knock like a normal person? ā
THERE'S ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG with friends visiting, but Blair really has it knitted in her head that it's okay for her to bust in like nobody's business. She probably doesn't even realize all the wrongs in that logic.
