honey: when your muse loves someone (whether it be romantic, platonic, or familial love), how do they show it?
Lance is literally the type of person who weighs on a person both hand and foot. Well, when he is stupidly in love with them or when he thinks that he is, but like he is the type to become totally whipped for someone. And it doesn’t even need to be in the romantic sense, because we all know that he would do anything for his best friend Flynn alone, and that is all because he loves him like an actual brother (hence why he doesn’t even fault him for what happened years ago). But when he falls for a person, Lance tends to fall hard for them, and there is hardly anything that he wouldn’t do just to appease them, It’s honestly something he shouldn't do as he is very aware how many people can take advantage of that, but like he is also a total softy on the inside so it’s bound to happen regardless of whether he should everything for a person or not. But like he does have some sense.... just not all the time.
new leaf: what message would your muse send to their past self, if any?
If there was any message Lance would send to his past self, it would be that he is bigger than what anyone thinks he would ever amount to. It was a sad and sometimes lonely life back when he was younger, and though he is more than grateful that he had Flynn by his side for most of it, it would be a complete lie to say that many others had looked down on them, on him, for what they were. For being a an orphan boy whose parents didn’t even want him and who no one hardly bothered to look at and consider adopting. In fact, what he was was nothing more than a nuisance, an annoyance and well, a thief. Heck Lance still is a thief! And despite what it seems, he knows that being one isn’t a good thing, but when life get’s tough and you need to survive, a person has to do what they have to do and if it means to rob someone blind than so be it! And yeah, he would tell his younger self that the more he begins to steal, that there would be times he would feel guilty for doing so or feel an emptiness inside of himself in where he would realize that this is the life he had set himself to living for the rest of it. But it’s not going to be. Instead, young Lance will know that there is always time for him to change, to become bigger than he himself ever thought he could be. And it may not be easy to do so at first, and things are going to get harder before it could get better, but it’ll be worth it. Everything he had to go through and deal with would be worth it.
atoll: if your muse could go anywhere, without any restrictions whatsoever, where would they go? why would they go there?
For some reason I feel like Lance would want to be inside the prestige room where all of the royal council people goes and do all their council things or whatever. I don’t know, it sounds stupid and there probably isn’t anything great about being there, but to know that only a select few people within the entire island bands together to represent the most powerful, and influential royal people? Come on, who wouldn’t want to see what goes on in there with their very own eyes?!
