Gas Leak at Trinoma Cinema 7 - The Rise of the Planet of the Apes movie
While me, my sister Gege and my hubby Joseph, were in the middle of watching the movie, Rise of the Planet of the Apes at Trinoma Cinema 7 during their 8'o clock movie schedule, a gas leak stinks inside the movie house. At first it was just a slight foul smell, but moments later, it's beginning to really stinks (well actually that's according to my sister because I have some few problems with my smelling sense so I don't really know what's happening then..) Gege keeps on saying "Amoy formalin", But I'm not paying attention to her because of course, I'm freaking watching the movie. But when people stand on their feet and rushed on the exit, and I saw Cinema personnel running to the back of the Cinema, where the projector is located, I then decided to be a part of the swarm. And it's a domino effect cause I've seen people near us joined the 'activity'. While walking down at the Exit door I was saying "Sayang naman! We're already at the good part" (where the apes were at up-rise and they're are starting to tear down Gen-Sys). But Gege is walking fast to the exit. I told Joseph that we have to stay to know the ending (I won't be able to sleep if I go) so we decided to be seated near the Exit doors instead, just to be ready when something bad happen. Guards where there anyway. I'm pretty sure they'll let us know if it is time for us to really go out. So we stayed until the movie was finished. When we got out, viewers who gone out in the middle of the movie were demanding for a refund or a free ticket. Perwisyo daw, a middle aged man said. Another one said, what if the commotion caused stampede, what will the they do? I said, at the back of my mind, hindi naman... Apparently, twas a Muriatic acid spill on the maintenance room inside C7. Not to make a big fuss out of it. But Trinoma should be careful on incidents like that. Stampede might really happen there if only one of us, audience, scream. Tsk... despite what happened, at least I know the ending...
