Hello I am here to post into the void once again. As I said previously I have moved to Manchester (England) and I have been here for almost a month and a half however I’ve only had my own flat since May 15th. As I figured, I am much happier even I’m though always tired & I’ve already seen some mind blowing shit: for example I recently one tickets to see the Charlatans play at a Pretty Green store with 50 other people just this past Friday & I got to meet Tim Burgess. Also Clint Boon from the Inspiral Carpets already knows who I am! I also met Glen Matlock from the Sex Pistols after a show he did recently as well.

Socially I’m doing well too although I have yet to meet a girl friend. But I met this cool older guy friend who apparently grew up on the same street as the Gallaghers & is around their same age, went to see the new Liam Gallagher movie with him & he saw footage of his old house haha. I’ve also already met a potential romantic partner whom I’ve hung out with 3 times & I got laid with him recently: first Manc I’ve ever slept with! He’s also SUPER attractive, looks kind of like a combination of Richard Ashcroft/Graham Coxon aaaand, no joke, his name is literally Alex James lmao....James is his middle name but he uses it because of Blur lol. We are hanging out again this Thursday & Friday! He’s only a few years older than me as well. And of course our music tastes are extremely similar. Noice. It’s hilarious that I have more success dating after a month in England than in my 29 years of living in Canada.

I will try to post on here more regularly now that I’m more settled here. Becoming settled & having my own place is a very nice feeling as the Air BnB I stayed in for my 1st two weeks was not good, but the host lady was nice anyway.

Hello I am here because I keep forgetting to post that I’m moving away soon to the land of fat fooks, Manchester Engerland, in about a week’s time! I’ve been planning this since about Christmas time, taking my grey sons Liam and Noel with me although they are being flown separately with a pet travel service (which cost me $3350....anything for my sons lol)

I have been in Vancouver for too long and it’s too expensive and I’m too unmotivated to carry on in any way here, in desperate need of drastic change. Everything’s been the same for years now and it’s getting bad for my wellbeing, so to Engerland I go. I’m much more motivated & more content over there for some reason. It will be a healthy change I hope.

Also I should start up this blog again & post more regularly since soon I’m basically not gonna have any friends haha besides those on the internet, will be lonely I’m sure. I have a couple gigs planned in May, Secret Affair and then the Undertones, maybe I can try to meet friends at those things?

I’ve returned to post I’ve become a mother again to two small grey sons, I’ve named them Liam & Noel and they are perfect grey angels. Also I can never use my bathroom sink again.

I know it’s been awhile since I posted but I’ve had yet another terrible life event & I need to vent anywhere I can: my precious Queen Pussy, my beautiful puss daughter whom I’ve had since she was a baby herself, died this morning at 6am. She was recovering from an emergency spay after having an infection & was recovering well until she apparently meowed, threw up blood, and collapsed dead in her cage. My heart is completely broken & I wish I could die along with her. How does one deal with the loss of a first & only child??

What made it even more fucked up is I hooked up with a guy last night & I got to receive the call about my dead daughter whilst still in bed with him. He has a car & drove me to the vet clinic & watched me as I sobbed over her body. It was nice to have someone there though at least.

Okay so: there's this record store venue in town that I very seldom go to, where I am now, and shortly after any time I've arrived the Stoned & Dethroned album by Jesus & Mary chain starts playing, including tonight, and now I'm deadass starting to wonder if it's cos of me since the owner/dude who controls the music knows I like them oof

In good news, I finally have a britpop/early punk DJ gig booked. On the 26th which is soon. I’ll be in my element! Britpop & punk, punk & britpop, that is me! I’ll still be playing post-punk & new wave too of course, that is a given, but finally I can include britpop & punk.

Can’t wait to hear Listen Up by Oasis on the big speakers. I actually played Pulp when I DJ’d the goth fest back in April lol but it was the song Refuse to Be Blind which is weirdly Bauhaus sounding so don’t think anyone knew the difference. Sneak level 100.

So lately (like for 2 months now) ive been going to pretty much nothing but local Punk shows & its funny since I’ve still been listening to almost exclusively Britpop lately hahaha I mean the 2 are kinda connected? pretty sure Britpop wouldn’t exist without the Sex Pistols. ANYWAY I am seeing the Damned tonight & I was invited to hang in a pub beforehand with some punk show acquaintances. I am Nervous but I still want to go hang with them because my now-ex will be at that show so being alone wouldnt be ideal. Also I need some new friends so this may be a good way of making them.

In other news, I read today that for all the upcoming Noel Gallagher UK shows, if you don’t have photo ID that matches the name on the ticket, or if you’ve forgotten your photo ID, you aren’t let in, and electronic tickets are non-transferrable. I completely understand preventing scalpers & touts & whatnot but Jesus this is over the top. This honestly pisses me off since this also means that a person can’t buy a ticket as a gift for another person without the person who purchased it attending as well. It also means that friends who can no longer attend can’t just pass the ticket along to another friend. If this was indeed Noel’s decision to do this than I guess this is the nasty rockstar behaviour our Lord LG has been telling us all along. Tsk tsk. Just let people attend your shows Noel, Christ.
