don’t apologise, i’m more than happy to answer your questions! for the first one, yes, magical citizens are born with their powers but they do develop over time. their abilities would be much stronger in their adult years compared to their childhood years. however, as they grow older, roughly past 60, their abilities aren’t as strong as they were in their adult years, but still stronger than when they were children. in short: adult>senior>child.
magic is rather well accepted by non magical individuals, as magic bearers make up for half of the population and magic itself is already a part of life in new seoul. of course, there are those that aren’t a fan of magical citizens, as they can be viewed as more powerful than regular citizens. and there will be some human citizens that feel insecure and inadequate compared to magical individuals.
finally, there would be stigmas, stereotypes and expectations towards magic bearers, although they aren’t as prevalent as they were in the past. for instance, darkness manipulation could be viewed as something negative and harmful, and so there are some people that are wary of those that possess the ability. as for social expectations, people tend to believe that magical bearers are more capable than humans because of their powers so there would be unrealistic expectations for them. an example would be that healers could be expected to heal anything and it wouldn’t affect them at all, or that they could revive the dead, even though it would take a lot of training and energy to reach that level.
