Jumin smiled,Ā āOf course,ā after all right now he couldnāt think of a better way to spend his day.
The day went by faster than usual, Jumin took care of business and kept Seven busy with games, snacks, and nearly anything else he could ask for- except Elizabeth 3rd, she was off limits.Ā
While working, and chewing at the end of his pen while in thought, Jumin found himself so distracted, but so pleased by this distraction. Tomorrow heād certainly regret it, but for now it was just what he needed. Seven was a breath of fresh air to his usual stale days, he was stuck in a never ending cycle.
Meetings. Media appearances. Travel. Business deals. Family affairs. Repeat.
It didnāt change much. Meeting Seven years ago, that was a blessing, Jumin realized and understood this now.
Seven was hard to read, another point of fascination. After all, the trust fund kid wasnāt used to people not basically throwing themselves at him. Even if it was predominately women, it was still new.Ā Ā
Sometimes heād flirt with him, saying something coy which would only frustrate Jumin at first, but then Seven would play it off as if it didnāt happen. It infuriated Jumin endlessly. The others could see the chemistry, but no one had the guts to comment their situation.
When Jumin met him in person for the first time he was pleasantly surprise, he was even taller than what Jumin imagined. There was nothing shocking about his appearance in negative terms, but Jumin was floored still and was very cold and stand-offish at first.
They found common grounds in their love for cats, which Jumin eventually learned Seven was simply awful with Godās most amazing creation, and had the same friend group. So naturally, over time they had bonded and now Jumin looked forwarded to every day that Seven would come over. Many times heād even look for excuses to have Seven visit.Ā
Jumin slid his work away from him and looked at Seven, he wasnāt sure how to approach a lot of things- especially suggesting group activities. Subconsciously, he already knew whatever that was about to come out of his mouth would sound awkward, maybe even forced, but he tried anyway. If anyone were to know the true sincerity behind his awkward domineer itād be Seven.
āLuciel...lets watch a film,ā he more so demanded than suggested, but still the attempt was there.
Standing up he first thought about taking him to the luxurious personal theater he had with large couch like seats, and the chef could serve them dinner, but that was more of a him thing than a Seven thing.Ā
This was where the real effort shined through the stiff and socially awkward man.Ā
Jumin set up his living room by himself, which was both excruciatingly difficult for Jumin but endearing to watch as a bystander. Grabbing as many blankets and pillows as he could gather, he tossed them onto the couch. Gracefully walking to the kitchen he frowned, he wasnāt in this room often and knew where nothing was.Ā āThe fridge...should have drinks,ā he told himself. Grabbing a various handful of drinks he set them on the coffee table, and finally called an assistant to order them several pizzas- Jumin not ordering pizza before didnāt know what to get. So the only logical thing to do was to order a variety.Ā
Finally, he turned and looked at Seven his face hard, but eyes still soft and even reflecting a slight anxious feeling.Ā āOkay...so...this is where we will watch films. You can choose from the on-demand station our television has.ā
There was a faint rose shade over Juminās cheeks, he was seriously trying, but knew his attempts were pathetic. After all, he paid people to take care of this stuff.
