I actually do hate my birthday the most

My birthday is here

and so are the birthday blues

Maybe I’ve always expected magic

some quiet proof that I am loved

Instead

the silence only grows

echoing louder than it shows

I do want candles and confetti

more glitter more light

just for one night

But most of all

I want to feel warm

to feel chosen

to feel like I’m held

But somehow

I never do

I’ve recently hated the thought of going to school. I’ve romanticized my life so much and I’m excited for all the things that I have and want to do and I view school as a depressing area of confinement and I really really want to graduate. I’m so tired of the thought of going to school and seeing everyone at the same time I just don’t want to go to school but at least I have one more year before I graduate so yay.
