There are quite a few of us :)
You’re a King and I’m a Lionheart by minuiko
No big deal, just hanging out in the tent cabin, feeling lots of Tamora Pierce feelings.
My hearts a flutter!!
who else loves Tamora Pierce? i read and reread the Circle of Magic/Circle Opens books in middle school, and then when i got to high school and The Will of the Empress came out i was so fucking excited
so i decided to make this DollDivine thing that’s supposed to be Tris, Daja, Sandry, and Briar in the Namornese court (i know, Daja doesn’t wear dresses, but this is the Tudor dollmaker and it doesn’t let girls wear pants)

I need to...
I need to re-read of all of Tamora Pierce’s books. They were SO good. A friend recently reminded me of my love of them.
I would write them in the vein of what I would have liked to see more of, my opinion on characters, etc.
Would you guys like to see reviews on them?
Definitely!

Really awesome picture!
Look, y’all: I’m 26-years-old, incredibly single, and not likely to have children anytime soon, but even now, at this point in my life, I get super emotional about how it will feel to introduce a daughter of my own to Tamora Pierce’s books. So.
I can't wait for that moment.
It’s hard to describe a relationship like theirs to people, because most of us were raised to think love is fire, passion, and prolonged bouts of giddiness and strained emotions. The quieter kind of love looks kinda boring on the surface, even cool-hearted. Nobody wants that at first. Some people...
More pre-planted clues: right after Aly tells Dove about the conspiracy, a miniature Kudarang comes up to Dove and nibbles on her nightgown. We never see any evidence of Sarai being approached by Kudarung.
So I’m rereading Trickster’s Choice for the 50 billionth time and I noticed something new. Lokeji mentions that the Kudarung returned twelve years ago. The Kudarung were the messengers of the Raka royal line. At this point in the books we are being led to believe that Sarai will be Queen, but she’s sixteen in this book, whereas Dove is twelve. It could be coincidence, but this is Tamora Pierce, so I think it was a cleverly done hint as to who the queen turns out to be.
I just finished rereading one of my favorite book series as a child.
And I forgot that my OTP doesn’t end up together. Like legit forgot. And it was heart breaking all over again.
This always happens to me in Tamora Pierce books. I do love that she her characters don’t end up with the first...

Hey look I colored it.
My favorite Tortall books have always been tied between the Immortals Quartet and the Trickster’s Choice/Queen books. Also ps Mark Reads is doing the Tortall books right now and it’s so super awesome to watch a grown ass man read the books I grew up on and love them just as much as me.
“‘I beg you, forgive me,’ the mage-human said. ‘I’ve done a dreadful thing to you, and I can’t undo it. I turned an enemy into an apple tree. Half a world away an apple tree—you—became a man.’”

“Fadal looked up at him. Her eyes were sad. ‘Lives are more than fertilizer, Qiom,’ she said. “Sometimes I don’t think you even want to be human.’ ‘I don’t,’ he replied.”
