Bob and Audry Casebeer are among our loyal regulars at The Talent Cafe. We love being a hub where local news, family, and community are nourished in Talent, Oregon. We count ourselves blessed that these elders have made us one of their homes away from home.
Bob and Audry have given so much of themselves to this community!
If you don't already know them, do stop by one morning or lunchtime, say hello, and tell them thanks for making Talent such a wonderful place to live.

Talent Cafe Now Open Extended Hours, 2:30- 6:30pm Wednesdays - Saturdays
Denise Obrien, owner of the Talent Café, is a people pleaser, so when her customers told her they had limited places to go in the evening after a few Talent restaurants went out of business, she had no choice but to expand her hours. “To turn people away was painful,” Denise said. “So we have extended hours until 6:30pm Wednesday thru Saturday.”
The Café is still open every day at 8am, but they run out of food on Sundays by 2pm, so Sunday thru Tuesday they still close at 2pm.
Next April, Denise will have owned the Talent Cafe for 10 years. “I love my customers,” she said. “It feels great to try to make them happy.”
Before moving to Talent, Denise used to own beauty salons. “I loved it for a long time, but I just needed a change from external stuff, and wanted to relate with people on a more genuine level,” she continued. “Let’s face it, feeding people is about as real as it gets.”
Her favorite part about the Talent Café is all the hugs she gets to give and receive. “And getting to witness the beginning of new families, and old ones,” she said. “Especially my hanai son, Abraham Carroll (who is also Talent Café’s manager and server extraordinaire). He met his bride, Jaden, here in the cafe. I also enjoy getting to paint, and sing and play with babies…and give dogs bacon!!!!”
On December 6 from 5 -7:30pm the Talent Café will host a Mexican food night courtesy of Hilda Cruz Connor, owner of Casa Feliz restaurant which was located where the Arbor House is now. “That was about 30 years ago, and her burritos are still legendary!”
Denise and staff are also working on a 10 - 18 year old open-mic night. “We are sure there are a bunch of talented kids in Talent,” Denise said. “But we still need a few pieces of equipment, so be sure check the Talent Cafe Facebook page for dates, times and details.”
The Talent Café is located at 160 N. Pacific Hwy here in Talent. Call 541-535-6310 for more information.

Come Enjoy Our New Munchie Menu and New Hours!
In addition to serving breakfast and lunch from 8am-2pm, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, The Talent Cafe will now be serving our Munchie Menu from 2pm-6:30pm Wednesday through Saturday.
Come for a late lunch, a mid-afternoon sandwich or a sweet treat, or enjoy an early dinner with friends. Our WiFi's available free to all paying customers.
We're prepared to box meals to go, too, if you want to take out.

A No-Brainer! Vote Yes on Measure 15-119!
I'm a lover of real food, organic food, food that's grown by people who love the Earth and love partnering with the Earth to feed themselves and others.
It takes courage and stamina to care for the land, the plants and the animals in this precious Rogue Valley. Our family farmers have a right to grow organic crops without the interference of multinational corporations that don't care one thing about the unique, local varieties of plants we love to eat.
Please join me in standing up for our local family farmers and EVERYONE's right to eat food grown from organic seed that has not been compromised by the genetic modifications that Monsanto and Syngenta want to force on us!
VOTE YES on 15-119 and please tell your friends, family, and neighbors to get out and do the same. Our health and the economic health of our farmers are depending on YOU.
We were saved by the cutest little super hero and her mother today.
Wonder Woman, thanks for eating at the cafe! it was a blast.
Undergoing construction to The Real Talent Café. Welcome all Foodies
Sandra and Robert are Talent locals but spent a couple of years living in France.
These extraordinary people would love to share their experience and offer advice with aspiring travelers.

Happy New Year from TheTalent Cafe!! I got through the busy day with the help of Mr. Bill Brown and Andy and Will. Mr. Bill turned into the host with the most charm yet!! When I lived in Hawaii there was a saying. "Lucky you live Hawaii"" I think we can all proudly say "Lucky we live Talent"
Winter isn't my favorite sport...
..but you can count on The Talent Cafe to be your port in the storm!! We will even be there on Christmas. At least I will be (Denise).
I don't want to make anyone else work on Christmas, so the menu may be limited, but still yummy!
I would love to be your safe haven in a sea of drive thrus!!
