Make your next trip to Dillard’s a fun one. Approach the cosmetic department and attempt to remove all the employees eyebrows that you see. BTW, the security department has the best agave-sweetened gmo-free lollipops! - Rick London c2014
What more could we be expected to do if we cannot be a steward of our own health? And if our health is tied to health of our environment, than why would we allow the decimation of these resources and diversity in the name of greed, in the name of some, and the rest are unable to move beyond subsistence.
EDMONTON MARCH AGAINST MONSANTO, MAY 25, 2013
https://www.facebook.com/events/565153116858661/?ref=22
I am working with the Edmonton March Against Monsanto group. May 25 is the global call for action day. At last count, I think that there were 265 cities marching on that day.
The Edmonton March will be starting at End Of Steel Park near Whyte Avenue at 12pm. In addition to the March, it will be a day of education.
We are looking for local food producer, farmers or retailers that might be interested in either having an info table (as we want to inform folks about GMO's and show them where to get their local non-GMO food), or perhaps being a speaker if you are passionate about our local food system or have a personal story to share. We are also starting a NO-GMO Edmonton campaign and our Website will be up soon. We would like to join with the 15 cities in BC that have become GMO-free.
If anyone is interested in Volunteering in other ways we have a couple positions that need to be filled as well. And of course, we would love for everyone to join us in our March.
If you or anyone you know might be interested I would love to hear from you.
