Loved seeing you talk more about the name recently. Legend of Dragoon is one of those fundamental pieces of media from my childhood as well and no other game since has ever quite captured what it felt like to play it growing up. I have never met another person irl that even knows about it, so it’s really lovely to see that other people know it and love it on here. It’s so massively under-appreciated.
It's always nice meeting more Legend of Dragoon fans, and until Larsa and I met neither of us had ever met another fan of it in person either. It's remarkable how much the game has flown under the radar since release, and the sheer scale of it means it's pretty unlikely to ever get the full remake treatment though I suppose that could potentially be as much blessing as it is curse.
Larsa and I had the good fortune of meeting the late Tony Todd, who was a close personal friend of my grandfather's, and I regret not asking him if he had any memories of recording for Legend of Dragoon. It was a pretty small footnote in his career and I'm almost certain he wouldn't have much to recall but it's still something I wish I had gotten to talk to him about before he passed in 2024. He was a wonderful person, on that note.
We fully intend to write a spotlight on the game some time, though of course that necessitates another full playthrough and a lot of research. But rest assured we'll get around to it eventually.
