It must have been real hard for you. I wonder if it is easier to breathe now? Are you happier now? It was nice when you were the soundtrack of my young teen self, when you were periodically updated of a newer photo of you on my phone. You’ve been loved but you must’ve not felt them all. To let go, it mustn’t have been easy for you. For us to say goodbye, it won’t be easy too. You will be missed, you will still be loved, and I hope there’s no more tears in heaven and you still are the bling bling we all knew.

Can I just… talk for a moment… about how much I love how, if you know them well, words don’t have synonyms?

English, for example, is a fantastic disaster. It has so many words for things that are basically the same, and I find there’s few joys in writing like finding the right word for a sentence. Hunting down that peculiar word with particular meaning that fits in seamlessly in a structure, so the story flows on by without any bumps or leaks.

Like how a shout is typically about volume, while a yell carries an angry edge and a holler carries a mocking one. A scream has shrillness, a roar has ferocity, and a screech has outrage. 

This is not to say that a yell cannot be happy or a holler cannot be complimentary, or that they cannot share these traits, but they are different words with different connotations. I love choosing the right one for a sentence, not only for its meanings but for how it sounds when read aloud. (Do I want sounds that slide together, peaceful and seamless, or something that jolts the reader with its contrast? Snap!)

I love how many words for human habitats there are. I love how cottage sounds quaint and cabin sounds rustic. I love steadiness of house, the elegance of residence, the stateliness of manor, and tired stubbornness of shack. I love how a dwelling is different to a den.

And I love how none of them can really touch the possessive warmness of all the connotations of home.

Words are great.

Sometimes, late at night, I think about that time when I had that one chance to speak to Hongki and tell him how much he's a poop... and all I could muster was oppa sarangahae. I can't imagine how much Hongki must be cringing inside and how cringe it was to hear it. I'm embarrassed to be a fan. I just cannot believe I said that. HOW. Lee HongKi renders me speechless and all I could say was saranghae. Urg. I hate hongki. He needs to come back and let me gather my thoughts and give him a piece of my mind. Not some fangirl shit. Come on.

10. Thank you to the five treasures that came into my life and was the soundtrack of my teenagehood. It hasn't been a smooth sailing journey (it still isn't) and it is only just a beginning of another era. I'm glad I fell in love with this band that have music so relatable to the struggles, frustrations and despair of everyday life, and also providing comfort, hope and light to the broken souls. Wasn't (still isn't) in a great place but ftisland is pulling me through. I can't count how many times I have heard their songs and cried from the comfort of knowing I'm not alone feeling this way and being comforted by the lyrics. They are the symbol of rebellion, of the reckless, of the outliers but when you understand them, they are none of those. They are simply just five boys, chasing their dreams with as much ferocity and passion their dreams allow them to. I hope that fire in them never dies and we can continue to hear great music from these boys. Of course, may they never lose their wackiness and continue being major embarrassing poops because that's the real reason I stan (juz joking.. or em i lololollllll) Let's go forever together!

This was my first time buying standing pit tickets instead of the usual sitting.

NO REGRETS. Able to see Jaejin’ butt and Jonghoon’s arms up close is everything.

Chose to stand near Seunghyun and Jaejin. Seunghyun looked like a cute cuddly bear today I can’t even. Today, I’m Seunghyun biased. HAHAHHA. He’s too adorable.

When Seunghyun introduced himself, we all screamed and he was surprised by the amount of screams. So naturally we had to scream louder for this homeboy. Seunghyun why are you surprised you special seungflake you deserve all the screams you pabo ㅠㅠ I’m glad he felt some love today. He deserved every bit of it. He looked so precious today. Can I be your mama. Just kidding.

Jaejin put on some weight so I couldn’t see all the jawline glory but it’s okay. He’s still that wacky fellow that I love hahaha. That freedom dance NEVER gets old. During one of the breaks, the boys were drinking water and Jaejin looked at us and motioned to offer us his water. Then annoying him just made a “lalala I’m just kidding die of thirst bitches" look xD. Seunghyun threw his water though so Seunghyun wins asshole Jaejin HAH)

Leader wore a jacket during the start of the concert but during the break he finally couldn’t stand the humidity of Singapore (the only time humidity is useful) and took it off to show the glorious armsss. Jealous flabby baby Hongki was like the hell Jonghoon must you show off like this “Jonghoon what the” Finally heard Jonghoon’s piano part for Crying in the Rain. Every note went straight into my heart. My life is complete. OH let’s not forget how this rude guy came over to shoot his guitar like a gun at us with his handsomeness. The nerves.

Hongki was a little down during the sound check. Glad he was his usual self for the concert. Before he started singing “Stand By Me”, he said it’s a song that describes how he feel recently. BABY LEMME HOLD YOU TIGHT IT’LL BE FINE ㅠㅠ During a break, he said not to worry and that he’ll be fine. Of course he will. We all know he’ll get better. Then Jonghoon straight up “hahahahaha” into the mic. Hongki threw a bottled water at him. HAH oh boys. As usual, amazed at hongki’s beyond human stable vocals. I jumped and sang (screamed actually) less than Hongki but I was the one dying from lack of O2. I really wanna grab Hongki and shove him into EVERY hater’s face and be like CAN YOU HEAR THIS PIECE OF ART AND SHUT UP. Babe gave a long speech at the end about how he was worried about the Singapore stop because they haven’t been here for so long and he’s grateful for the turnout. He shamelessly advertised for Hongkira and told everyone to tune in to it HAHAHA. Jaejin was all shaking his head. Tsktsktsk HAH. Hongki said to be friends forever<3 </p>

 Minari has a special place in my heart because he waved at me (maybe not but who cares. It’s me if i say it’s me HA) during soundcheck. Everybody was leaving the venue cause the boys were already going backstage but minari was still walking so I just shouted his name and he waved. At me. (I don’t care. It was at me. Period. Delusional fan alert. LOL.) Then his majesty proceeded to put on a “I’m not a softie I’m a fucking manly beast” poker face and did a hair flip. OK SON OK. I GET IT. YOU HOT. OK. 

 Everything aside, I actually got to hear my fav song- LOSE outta Where’s The Truth album so… FUCKING PUKING RAINBOWS AND CUPCAKES IM AT THE TOP OF THE WORLD GOT SO SHOOKKKKKK VAVOOOOM. 

Concert was so good. Urg. Why must it end so soon. Two hours never passed so quickly ever. Please come back soon my boys. Y'all promised!!!!!!!!!!
