How to Replace an iPhone 5S LCD Screen & Transfer Front Camera

Today, we are going to show you [How to replace an iPhone 5S lcd screen assembly and transfer the front camera, home button, and ear speaker.]
1) Begin by removing the two pentalobe screws from the bottom of the phone. 2) Next, use your suction cup and prying tool to lift out the screen. 3) Before completely removing the screen assembly, we must disconnect the home button connector located near the charging port. 4) Continue to lift the screen to about a 90 degree angle and remove the screws from the metal connector shield. 5) Next, use your prying tool to disconnect the three lcd screen connectors. 6) Once the old screen is removed, unscrew the front camera shield and the screws holding the Metal LCD shield in place. 7) Remove the screws on the metal home button assembly. 8) Use your prying tool to lift out the home button flex assembly. (This step may require a heat gun on the front side of the home button to loosen the adhesive). 9) Continue to pry off the copper adhesive on the metal LCD shield in the upper left corner. 10) Next, remove the metal ear speaker frame and assembly. 11) Use your prying tool, lift out the metal LCD shield from the old screen. 12) Heat the front of your LCD screen and use your prying tool to separate the front camera assembly. 13) With the upper lcd frame still warm, use your metal prying tool to remove the plastic camera placeholders. 14) On the new LCD screen you want to install, re-insert the two plastic camera placeholders. 15) Continue to reinsert the front camera assembly. 16) Place the ear speaker on the new screen and screw in the metal frame. 17) Remove the LCD protector and install the LCD frame with its supporting screws. 18) Insert the iPhone 5S home button onto the screen assembly. 19) With the home button in place, attach the metal home button shield. 20) Now, with the new replacement screen ready to go, we can connect the LCD, digitizer, and front camera ribbon cables. 21) Snap the lcd protector shield in place and screw in the remaining screws. 22) Do not forget to reconnect the iPhone 5s home button ribbon cable. 23) Proceed to firmly snap the new lcd replacement screen assembly onto the iPhone housing. 24) Finally, we can re-insert the two pentalobe screws into the bottom of the iPhone locking your new replacement screen in position.
