In the Name of Allah—the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful.
Say, 'He is Allah, [the] One, Allah, the Eternal Refuge. He neither begets nor is born, nor is there to Him any equivalent.'
Have those who disbelieved not considered that the heavens and the earth were a joined entity, and We separated them and made from water every living thing? Then will they not believe?
Or were they created by nothing? Or were they the creators [of themselves]? Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Rather, they are not certain.
We will show them Our signs in the horizons and in themselves until it becomes clear to them that it is the truth. But is it not sufficient concerning your Lord that He is, over all things, a Witness?
And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me.
Every soul will taste death. And We test you with evil and with good as trial; and to Us you will be returned.
Mankind was [of] one religion [once]; then they differed. And had it not been for a word that preceded from your Lord, it would have been judged between them regarding that wherein they differ.
And they have taken besides Allah gods that they may be [a source of] honor for them. No! They will deny their worship of them and be against them opponents.
And We certainly sent into every nation a messenger, [saying], 'Worship Allah and avoid Taghut (false deities).'
And if you are in doubt about what We have sent down upon Our servant [Muhammad], then produce a surah (chapter) the like thereof and call upon your witnesses other than Allah, if you should be truthful.
And We have not sent you, [O Muhammad], except as a mercy to the worlds.
Indeed, the religion in the sight of Allah is Islam.
(Islam means: Submission to God)
(Muslim means: Submitter to God)
All praise is for Allah—Lord of all worlds, the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful.
