I had a dream I was tending to a bonsai garden of sorts that was a miniature bamboo forest and meadow full of flowers and people just kept watering it and I was screaming at them to stop but they wouldn’t and then I pushed them all aside and tried to take out the excess water with a tiny bucket but it was no use everything died

the one tree hill soundtrack is reminding me of being nine years old and my mom’s cd collection for her car she had a whole big organizer full of them and so much of it was Brit pop n alt rock and she’d be dressed in Vivienne tam and have such a rhythm on the windy roads paved into the hills of hk and when I was ten I had a green iPod mini she’d make mixes and put all the songs on it and at night she’d take me hiking with her in the jungle and we’d come out to the most amazing views of the city I don’t care about the drama of the show I think I just care about how it lets me dip in and out of the memory of those feelings and it reminds me of how nice it was to feel connected to her through music
