Burying Dragon’s Teeth

Summary:   Cousins Jin and Namjoon only had each other, and that was all they needed.So why was it up to them to save a world where gods and monsters were real?

My Thoughts: This was one of the first fantasy au BTS fics I’ve ever read and I have to say I was blown away. The world building and character building in this fic is insanely good, and that’s probably what hooked me to the story. I loved the sibling-like dynamic between Namjoon and Jin, and it’s so cute so see the blossoming romance between Namjoon and Jimin and also Tae. I think Yoongi’s character is very unique and not one I've ever seen before in fantasy. If you love reading about dragons and faeries and fantastical adventures, you should definitely check this out!

Saltation

okay this new year i’ve resolved to actually update this more often so here we go!

Main Ship: Yoongi/Jimin

Author:  momora

Genre: ABO Dynamics/ Romance

Rating: R (for future smut)

Summary:   Jimin had grown up watching his mother sort the point-oh-one percent beta defaults into the alpha-omega communities, but that doesn't make being a part of the statistic much easier. He'd be doing okay at this new omega thing if that watchful alpha Min Yoongi could stay out of the situation. He just wants to settle into his new life and finish his useless degree already. Instead, all hell breaks loose.

My Thoughts: This is probably my favorite ABO fic that i’ve read. the author chose a very unique take on the ABO genre. the character development and the world building is really cool. I particularly enjoy the friendships that Jimin develops especially with Hoseok and Taehyung. The Yoonmin relationship is super cute, and is a little slowburn-y but it’s very sweet. The author is still updating the fic, and this is something i will eagerly look forward to. All in all, its a really well fic and i urge all of you to check it out!

The Boy in the Music Box

Main Ship:  Yoongi/Jimin

Genre: Romance/ Fluff

Rating: PG

Summary:   Yoongi doesn’t really expect anything special when he finds an old music box in his grandmother’s attic and she tells him to keep it. Oh sure, he expects the music box to be a pretty decoration to add to the stale interior of his small apartment. He expects it to play a tune and he might even dare to expect the barely-functioning little ballerina to dance along to the soft chimes, but that's it, really.The last thing he expects is for the little ballerina to take human form at night and throw his life out of balance with radiant smiles, soft giggles, and a heart-wrenching story.

My Thoughts: Y’all this is some soft shit, and I love it so much oh my god. This story will give you all the Yoonmin feels. The fic is laden with fluff and you might just start crying from the amount of fluff and softness that this story is. I especially love the relationship between Yoongi and his grandmother, and the Vmin bromance. My Thoughts: Okay, this one’s for all of you who like The Office. This is pretty much a Bangtan Office AU fic, where Jin joins the staff temporarily from Corporate. This story is super hilarious, and reads kind of like a sitcom. Each one of the characters is so adorably quirky, when you put them all together you get... mayhem of the best kind. Plus, watching the Yoonjin relationship develop is really cute. If you like funny, rom-com esque  fics, this one’s definitely for you!

Train To Busan

Genre: Zombies/Angst

Rating: PG-13 (For violence)

Summary:  One seemingly normal Friday morning in Seoul, South Korea, Min Yoongi boards a train with his son in hopes of getting to Busan so the boy can spend his fourth birthday with his mother. Things do not go exactly as planned.

My Thoughts: Oh my god this is quite the emotional roller coaster. For those of you who have watched Train to Busan (and if you haven’t, its on Netflix, go watch it rn!) the plot of this fic is loosely based on that. It’s a long oneshot, but definitley worth it. I absolutely love how this fic effortlessly weaves between all the character’s stories. The romance in this fic is minimal, but very sweet. I’m also a huge fan of the Sugakookie and Vmin relationship dynamics. All in all, it’s a wonderfully paced, super well written fic, and it is a must read!
