Why doesn't Caitlyn deserve the hate?
From the very beginning of Arcane, Caitlyn Kiramman proves herself to be a person with principles and ideals. It's no coincidence that her personality type is INFJ: she is a perfectionist and an idealist. For her, it's important that everything is fair and follows the rules.
Zaun is a place that disrupts her perfect picture of the world. The Undercity is full of chaos, filth, and crime. Furthermore, Jinx begins to wreak havoc in Piltover as well, which, of course, does not go unnoticed by Kiramman.
Caitlyn does not try to kill Jinx. She is simply investigating a case and doing her job. And what does Jinx do? She kidnaps Caitlyn from her estate, holds her hostage, threatens her, and later kills Cassandra.
This is where we need to dig deeper: Cassandra is not just a mother. She is a role model for Caitlyn and the only person capable of keeping her grounded. Caitlyn clearly has socialization issues: she has no friends, her social circle consisted of her parents and Jayce.
So Caitlyn lost her mother — the closest person in her life. And all because she was trying to help, to establish justice.
But even after all of this, Caitlyn does not try to harm Zaun. Yes, she becomes obsessed with capturing Jinx, but that is justified.
The bottom line: Caitlyn should not be hurt.
(+ she didn't poison all of Zaun, btw)
Come and get your knives everyone~

they should invent a secret second weekend so that you can see friends and do fun things while still having enough time to do errands and sleep in without dying of exhaustion all the time

Oh, just in case anyone hasn’t seen this set of images yet.
I first saw these pixel-style images in a video posted by Riot Music, but I noticed they deleted those videos a while ago, so I don’t have a higher-resolution version either.
